Swindon will be crowing about how good they are on Friday But they are taking on only half a team once again.

Unsure about that, but the state of the team is down to KL it is not Swindons fault.

Looks like Smith will now be available to Swindon on Thursday following Sheffield's changes.

MPT missing is a big blow to Kings Lynns chances, but Lambert and a couple of others in decent form. Should be a good meeting, and if Swindon start how they did last Thursday then it could spell trouble.

Hardly half a team but you can only race against who is in the line-up and it is hardly Swindon's fault!

Nothing is foregone conclusion - I have seen many "select" teams beat their opposition unexpectedly over the years and best not forget that Swindon struggled against a very poor Rye House team who really should have won on the night!

There will be no crowing about how good Swindon are until such time as they secure their place in the play-offs and go on to win it - it would be foolish to crow before then - look at Poole fans pre-season crowing!

Jack Smith being back in certainly strengthens King's Lynn's chances.

Apart from EF's or fallers he's certain for 3 zeroes.

To be fair, whoever his replacement would have been would more than likely have had similar chances

From kingslynnstars.co

KING’S LYNN team manager Dale Allitt is considering his options for his side when they travel to the Abbey Stadium to take on Swindon on Thursday (7.30).

The Tru Plant Stars are awaiting a fitness update on Ty Proctor who missed their previous two fixtures because of a shoulder injury.

While Danish duo Kasper Andersen and Michael Palm miss the trip to Wiltshire after Andersen crashed out of the Stars’ home win against Rye House, and Palm Toft is in Championship action for Peterborough.

British Champion Robert Lambert will lead the Stars’ challenge after he backed up his paid maximum against the Rockets by scoring a 15-point maximum for Rospiggarna in Sweden on Tuesday.

Swindon go into the fixture at full-strength after Sheffield released Jack Smith which means he can take his place at reserve.

Allitt said: “Swindon is going to be hard because they’re a fantastic team on their home track. Tofty (Michael Palm Toft) is a big miss because he got paid-10 before but all you can do is beat what’s out in front of you. We’ll try and regroup, and we will try to get the best people in if we have to.

“Kevin Doolan comes in for Tofty and we all know a lot about Kevin, he’s been a hero here for a long time.

“All we want is a full team. We have proved at full-strength or missing one rider how dominate we can be. Fixed race-nights are making it really hard because it’s not what we thought it was going to be.”

SWINDON: Nick Morris, Adam Ellis, Tobiasz Musielak, David Bellego, Troy Batchelor, Zach Wajtknecht, Jack Smith.

KING’S LYNN: Niels-Kristian Iversen, Lewis Kerr, Ty Proctor or R/R, Thomas Jorgensen, Robert Lambert, Guest TBC, Kevin Doolan.

A full team is all that fans want as well. Fixed race nights would have worked if they were on a Thursday and Monday and not Wednesday's. The BSPA have made a complete farce of FRNs. What's the betting they will be scrapped next year with no progress made. Race on Thursdays meaning no  clashes with the Danish League and don't allow Championships teams to race that day meaning no doubling up issues. It's quite simple but promoters are blinkered. Seriously how hard can it be....?

Am I the only Lynn fan who is getting totally hacked off at the Stars fielding an "All Stars" team at most matches? (pardon the pun)

We hardly ever get the team we were promised at the start of the season, there is always somebody, riding in Denmark, or riding for their Championship Club or R/R

I can accept having a rider injured, its unfortunate and can't be planned for, but there really is no excuse for what has been happening lately with riders missing. I started this season full of enthusiasm, but that soon went down the toilet!

Totally agree with you. So frustrating that  our sport is being run by muppets !

After the first KL fixture this season I thought tomorrow would be a cracker with 2 full strength teams going at it. The KL changes make them miles weaker. No one wants to see select teams.
