Sheffield v Glasgow SGBCL 21/06/18 @ 19.30

i agree with most of that , prob  ,all of it . at the start of the season you had assembled what look like a really strong team .  Glasgow signed riders who rode last seasons track really well (starke)  golden promises by a certain reserve saying he will double his average ! Glasgow prob shot themselves in the foot by altering their home track and taking away any home advantage . harris looks like he has one eye on retiring and the rest are just going through the motions . except viss and kerr .

fans can and do make good team managers , look @ jacko @ Workilngton . he has the respect of all the riders and gees them up when needed . maybe cami is too nice a guy to start throwing his weight around . then again Stewie D   is an impossible act to follow .

but as you say , the promoters cant keep feeding fans spiel and hope they take it in like a sponge .

the stadium and its surroundings are second to non in the championship and you deserve more from your guys . maybe it will come on Saturday @ wucky , who knows . although we have Dan missing, he at the moment is still finding his way around d.p. ( only four home meets this year so far . best o luck for the remains of the short season. fixtures are a farce and looking @ the competition from the east coast , they have had meetings most weeks . wonder why that is .

so best o luck for the remaining fixtures  as and when they come .

leakside look to be the top team at the moment followed by the borrowers (p/borough ) .

We can speculate every aspect of Glasgow's performances , but the truth is , we should be doing far better than 34 points away from the home .

Before Redcar strengthened up , everyone was winning there , we scrambled a point . Our away performances in the Championshio Shield were acceptable , but in the league it's a different story . At home we look far from convincing too . The utter shambolic performance against Workington in the Shield followed by the unforgivable collapse against Edinburgh in the cup has left a lasting effect on attendances

We have an underperforming top two who seemingly cant get their machinery to work properly , getting them to get through a meeting on competative engines seems to be a bridge too far .

We have a fan masquerading as a team manager who has no tactical nous or the ability to lift the team when the going gets tough.

We are constantly fed the party line , that team spirit is good and dont panic Mr Mannering , everything will be ok .

Well the harsh reality is , we put together a strong looking side at the start of the season and so far it's blown qualification out of a Shield group it had complete control of . Blown a KO Cup tie it was running away with . And with the next home meeting against the all conquering Lakeside Hammers looming large , defeat in that will leave the play offs looking a very distant holy grail . But dont worry folks , everything will be fine .

A damning half term report card though this could have been written a month ago. The Lakeside meeting at home is crucial and I'm not confident. Richard Lawson will be back to prove a point and Nick Morris will love the widened track, so that's our top two negated on current form.

Keep going the way we are and our season will be over at the end of August. By a cruel twist of fate our last league meetings are back to back against the 0131, and how they would love to be the ones to finish off our playoff chances, if we haven't done that ourselves by then.
