Peterborough v Lakeside 29 June

Recommended Posts

A very tasty meeting in prospect - let's hope everyone stays safe until then.

Hammers kept it close last time they were there - can they do better this time?

A shame that I'm going to be missing this meeting.

Finsbury Park with Liam Gallagher just about edges it for me.

What Beatles songs will he be performing? ;)

Newman not yet recovered from his injury - so R/R for the Hammers.

PETERBOROUGH Speedway wish to advise supporters of admission arrangements for tonight’s meeting against Lakeside (7.30pm).
Due to a major event taking place during the day at the East of England Arena, entry to the venue for speedway administration staff is slightly delayed.
Turnstiles for speedway will be open by 6.30pm but we would recommend supporters do not arrive very early as there is likely to be congestion with other visitors leaving the site.
Additionally, we must advise in advance that catering facilities may not be available due to the overlap of events in the afternoon and evening. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

If showground management can't arrange catering facilities then they should at least give speedway promotion the chance to arrange something , I know its not the fault of speedway management but they I am sure would do a better job if given the chance , it's not ideal for visiting fans who would normally expect to be able to purchase refreshments
