27•06•18 - Premiership - Rye House v Swindon

Recommended Posts

There is usually a BSPA management meeting on the last Tuesday of the month?!  Maybe things have been said, requests made again and turned down again?!

And the Rye count down clock to next meeting is still counting down so if fans don't notice the 'tweet ' some could still be turning up tomorrow night.  What a way to run a business no wonder us  fans are getting fed up I just hope this isn't the demise of another club.

What are they supposed to do at such short notice?

At least give a reason to stop the obvious rumours that will spread before we get something more concrete.

It's obvious that such a worded notice and at such short when many know the speedway finances are dire would send things like the forum into overdrive.

Let's hope Wednesday brings some clarity if for nothing else to put to bed what many of us are thinking at the moment.

The word postponed rather than cancelled would have been so much better if it has something to do with riders or the track.

Though if you say 'postponed' I think you have to give a reason for it.

Well if there is integrity within the BSPA, let's hope we get something one way or another as its unfair on the dwindling faithful followers. I can't believe they won't be in the know as to what is going on somehow.

Worrying though that such a notice so late in the day without any back up info or reason and the word cancelled being used, is obviously going to cause concern and rumour.

But let's not get too ahead of ourselves as tomorrow will soon come (and go).

Count down clock has now been altered to show next home meeting 9th July against Kings Lynn lets hope that is a positive sign, still a bit more clarity from the promotion would help.

And Swindon website now saying "postponed" so let's hope that's the case, still no explanation  as to why though.

Saying cancelled rather than postponed indicates the match will not be restaged.

Tells us everything.Only deduction that can be made from wording

Now saying on the Rye website as meeting postponed

It is with great regret that we have to announce that, due to unforeseen circumstances, tomorrow's fixture against Swindon is postponed.
