When you haven’t got £15 spare (which is the case for many teenagers), there are many more pressing or tempting things to attract your cash.

20 cigarettes to last a week, and a few bus fares, or walk to work all week and not smoke, for 16 minutes of ‘excitement ‘ on a Saturday night?

Walk to work and not smoke it’s far healthier.

Might be better value for money for some by the looks of it.

I did it when Edinburgh were here, totally enjoyed my night didn't miss speedway at all, can see how easy it is to find something else to do on Saturday

You obviously don't see them down at the track during the week doing work and also Saturday mornings and afternoons then?

Washing the fence and drinking tea does not constitute track prep, Saturday am or pm = too late to make a difference.

Seen Heppy and Ian drive past when I was down for the Hibs football game. Track wasn't wet so suspect they were working on the track and not just washing the fence.
