Brummies turned up with a team of 6, nothing unusual about that these days most teams do it when running Rr. The inclusion of Flint Snr was given the ok by the BPSA, if there was a problem surely they should have stopped it. But Buxtons childish behaviour on this matter is the issue, or are they above the BSPA Edited July 8, 2018 by 1962saddler

Guest GiveusaB Posted July 8, 2018 Firstly, we have to hope that Buxton have prepared a safe enough race track ????
TurnTwo 317 Posted July 8, 2018 Surely a rule that would state he would need to have a 3 point average.. yet he’s achieved an average in the leagues above so how could he come in on a 3 lol Birmingham must be mad to think they could pull that off
guitar_art 247 Posted July 8, 2018 From Birmingham twitter feed. Buxton objected to the use of Gary Flint at reserve and despite having the relevant paperwork and confirmation from the BSPA office, he has now been blocked from riding this afternoon. We will be looking into this matter further. Sheldon Davies steps in.
Islander15 1,065 Posted July 8, 2018 Has any actual reason been given yet?

Was this a decision made by the "on call" MC member who has no idea what he is ruling on?

Some might say Buxton should be thrown out of the league for fielding such a week side. (Some might say it but not me. Just highlighting how ridiculous your original post was.)

Surely there's only Birmingham who have been up to dirty tricks, by trying to field an ineligible rider? It's all well and good saying Gary Flint had obtained the relevant paperwork, as confirmed by the BSPA, but Buxton could point out that Craig Cook has all the relevant licences and paperwork, and the BSPA would confirm that too.... It still wouldn't make him eligible to come back and ride as a 3.00 guest in the NL.
