As far as i can see it`s Poole v Wolves, Swindon v Leicester and Somerset against kings Lynn.

Financial suicide if they do ?

Think Poole have already declared a postponement if England won

Think you’ll find that Swindon believe they already have enough points to finish top and we won’t bother to have another home meeting until September. :)

All depends on whether other dates can be found really. The crowds will inevitably be significantly down, can tracks afford the financial hit?

Swindon meeting cancelled although that happening was obvious a week ago and would probably happened even if we were out of it.

As a consequence of England football team's progression to the World Cup semi finals, Somerset speedway has reached the decision to postpone their scheduled league match against King's Lynn this coming Wednesday.

Announcing the decision, promoter Debbie Hancock said "whilst not having a meeting on Wednesday is extremely disappointing from a speedway perspective we have to acknowledge that England qualifying for the semi finals is a massive achievement and we recognise that many of our supporters will be wanting to watch the football".

As a result of this decision, the next scheduled action at the Oaktree Arena will be the SGB Championship pairs on Friday 20th July, the eve of the British GP in Cardiff.

Somerset visit Wolverhampton on Monday night (July 9th) when latest signing Aaron Summers will be making his club debut.

There may not be any speedway - as we know it - in 2019. All clashes may be avoided.
