09.07.18 - Belle Vue v Swindon Robins - Premiership

Recommended Posts

Track was over watered at the start and Swindon were not getting out of the tapes.

Heat 7 onwards was usual NSS standard with some brilliant racing, heat 13 a corker.

Swindon were poor, expected more. Bachelor really does love the place.

Will be hard for BV to get in play offs now, which could prove a financial disaster. We need those meetings.

Don't think BV are out of the play-offs by any means yet. Steve Worrall should be back sooner rather than later which must help?

Some really good racing again .Thought the crowd tonight looked lower than the Poole meeting a couple of weeks back.

Hope there's some increase once the school holidays start !!

Well done BV.  An off night for Morris didn’t help Swindon’s cause and with the team built the way it is - it needs all of the top 5 to be scoring well.

Belle Vue need away wins now.

If all teams win their remaining home meetings and pick nothing up on the road, we will finish 6th.

Its ifs and buts, although does highlight the importance of what I've said above. We also can't afford to lose at home again or it's curtains.

He's back next meeting.

Not having a full team has hampered our season. We need away wins now and a strong finish.

Morra not as good as last year, not a number1.

Doyley was great signing for Zummerrzet,  now top.

Well done Batch and Belly.

Garrity was signed on a 28 day contract about 13th June so that should end today or tomorrow. Steve has had spins, as far as I know, after our meeting v Sheffield  (29/6) & at Newcastle Sunday & last night so he should be close to 100% fit. Here's hoping he restarts how he started this year for all concerned.

The three extra points deducted courtesy of our win at Rye House have hit us hard.

We were the only team to win at Rye, so the points deduction hits us harder that the rest. Having said that I still would rather a healthy Rye to be still competing.
