SCook shouldn't be allowed in the second division. If these teams want to have GP riders and put strong sidss together, they should be in the top league. Hopefully this won't be sanctioned.

Believe it or not, news of what is happening in the sport of speedway is not omnipresent.

And there lies the problem. Teams riding in a lower league but trying to make it a top league.

Surely the sport would be better if all ambitious clubs who want to sign top quality riders rode in one, larger league. Instead, once again, we get fans of lower league clubs wanting their own league to be seen as better than what should be the main league that people aspire to be in.

Not fans at fault it's down to the BSPA who have allowed this to happen , fans, have not created this situation , alarm bells have been ringing for years , when the so called top league started poaching riders from the now known championship to double up in reserve positions for the now known premier league , you see they even nicked  our league name because they know we have a better product.

I just call them division one and two. It's much easier to follow! The stupid "copy football" names are an embarassment.

Yes, doubling up and down is a big part of the problem. It was fine when there was one place in division one teams, shared between 2 riders. But then, suddenly, the whole thing went crazy in both leagues, and in no time we has two leagues using the same riders and both leagues lost credibility.

I really wish this had never happened.

Never mind the way things are going this debate will be dead in the water as soon both leagues will have to join forces as there will only be enough teams for one league .

Yes next season C Cook number one for Glasgow in one league hopefully.

Max Frick will be no. one at Belle Vue  and so on start making our own stars again in a weaker league but an affordable one.

and also when they started allowing double up

as you say prem league no1's were at reserve in the elite league

now a championship 2nd string can be prem heat leader

Of course they would and I don`t blame them, Craig Cook is self employed and will want to make a good living from his racing career.
