Apparently only top 3 reach the play offs, however this has not been confirmed on BSPA website.

Top four teams progress to the play-offs (All play-off ties raced over two legs) .
- The team finishing top gets to choose from the second, third and fourth placed teams who they wish to race in the semi-finals”.

I think The Aces will make the play offs but its dependant on which other teams drop out as that’s had a major effect on our season so far. If three more close down then we’re gaurenteed a spot.

I'd say other way round. Poole were done once before when they were bottom, made changes and rocketed up the table. The Play-Offs were moved mid-season from 6 to 4 teams to stop Poole's chances.

...and how many of the 7 Premiership clubs would vote for a reduction in the number of play-off places?  All 7 are still very much in with a chance of qualifying.

Remember,    Not all teams are allow a vote !

There is some stupid rule that says promoters  have to be in office  10 yrs   before they are allow a vote.....

Thats at General Council (and its 3 years) Something like the Prem play-offs would only involve the Prem clubs.

This was posted in jest, and in no way was it intended as fact.

Just a backhanded comment of how some of the rule changes are achieved.....
