He might feel a bit second hand after that crash, but good to see him on his feet ....

Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the Updates site? If so, could you please send me a private message which includes your mobile phone number.

Thanks

Not seen anything to suggest he wont be there, only that he feels like he has been hit by a bus and is struggling to walk or sit down this morning.

Interesting to see the guest situation if not there.... as hasn't ridden in official fixture and can't go back to previous 1-7 as Worrall now in Edinburghs.

Think Mr Godfrey will be well up with the rules....

The rule is this:

16.5.2.2 No facility is permitted to replace a rider, who although included in a Re-declaration has not made an appearance for that Team since being re-declared.

So clearly according to that there should be no facility. It's stupid of course, the point of the rule is to stop teams deliberately signing an injured rider to get a facility. It should not apply here but because of the poorly written rule, it might.

Easy for him to make an extraordinary one-off ruling "in the best interests of the sport".

Peterborough of course chose to revert rather than go ahead with no facility

A little different as their signing Kennett was known to be out for some time ahead and hopefully Cook would not be

It does beg the question as to when a redeclaration becomes binding and suggests Glasgow (if the wished) could insist Worrall be reinstated and ride today
