Poole v Kings Lynn. Prem B. 1st August 2018

Saw a proper speedway meeting on a racers track last night. Not the gate and go garbage served up as an excuse for speedway from Saddlebow. Perhaps Buster should get in touch with the Poole track curators on how how to produce a track that produces passing, rather than the gate and go from Lynn.

BT need to get down to Wimborne Road, and quick!

Ye like Monday week against somerset

I would listen to riders like NKI and Rob Lambert over someone who has a proven biased track record like SS, every time.

You won't change there biased minds, they're brain washed (well not starman), you're just pouring oil on the track, oops I mean fire.

Mate you are wasting your breath. If they dont know the facts which clearly many dont they will just invent it..

Poole deliberately poured lots of oil onto the track... FACT .. Poole supporters saw it with their own eyes. FACT

Lambo did not say the oil was put on the track before the meeting.... He moaned that the riders can't drop a tiny bit of oil on the track, yet some bloke comes out and chucks loads of the stuff on... Perfectly  entitled to make such a comment....

Probably only Poole fans miffed about the comment and think the oil is all good..

End of.

Still got a big grin on my fact after last nights meeting. So good. The whole team has finally started to come together with no weak links whatsoever in the 1-7.

Ah, that’ll be #Poole46.5.

Surprising what you can do when you build to 4 points more than any other team!

Genius. :)

Never heard such a posse of bad losers such as the Kings Lynn fans on here. Just can’t accept they had their arses whopped. So try and find some tiny thing like a little spilt oil to cover their teams humiliation. Real fans would have stood up and told their two “star riders” to shut it and take the whopping like proper sportsmen rather than coming over as sad losers throwing pathetic tantrums in public.

The track was excellent last night. Racing was top notch and Poole dished out one hell of a beating. What’s not to like?

Yes, it is, but it shouldn’t be.

Swindon and Wolves were built to 42.5 and haven’t been able to change because they chose well and have done well.

Poole chose a crap team, have made five changes, wheeling and dealing and dropping riders who have improved their averages, and now have one built to 46.5.

Swindon and Wolves should now be allowed to build to 46.5.

#Poole46.5

You know its not to do with loosing. You wanted action on Lambo after not reading his tweet properly...Won't say you jumped the gun. Not surprised  tbh.

Did you read the tweet properly and respond in the correct manor ?????? Did you SS

Who would have some bloke dump oil from a container over the track when riders and plenty of supporters are still in the stadium. Beggers belief.

It has nothing to do with the track or the racing on the night...It happened after, and will effect the next home meeting, otherwise why do it Steve ?????

Stick to your paintings. Hope your punters get a more reasoned opinion on your paintings than we do on here about the Pirates . You might fool some, but not all...

So the usual several pages of bs following a Poole trouncing of the opposition.

I really can't understand the issue about 'oilgate'. I would go as far as to say that every speedway track in the country has used oil to help bind 'iffy' shale. Even the renouned trackman Buster suggested using it during the infamous 'first bend hole' incident a few seasons ago which caused the KL call off!!

With the oil being put on the track after the meeting I guess we'll have to wait to see if Leicester 'ride under protest' at next week's Wimborne Road home meeting?!

I can't add anything else about the meeting other than to say that 3 Poole riders set their fastest race times of the season so far.

(NB. For those arguing the environmental/H&S issues, last night's meeting was actually sponsored by a Health and Safety Compliance Specialist!!):):t:

No he didn’t and I was on track with him. He asked for shale, was told none available and Poole track man suggested old oil and Buster laughed and said “you must be f..king kidding”. I don’t recall you being on the track that evening. So fake news

Skidder does tend to tell a few little white ones to suit.

Seems like Middleditch and Ford need to sing from the same hymm sheet. One seems to say its done on purpose to bind the shale, the other seems to think it was an accident so called in the experts to clear it up.Obviously Starman is with Middlo on this one.

I tollerated Poole and 90% of their so called fans. But it's their way of the highway, that pisses me off. Most are like Ford clones. They will win the league every year soon. They will ride against Poole A and Poole B each week. Win the league Job done. In the interests of ( Poole) the sport
