As i said last week give them a good track instead of a rubbish tip and you will see Lynn as they are despite carrying two riders injuries from that said TIP

Trouble is Saddlebow has been dire for a few years now. Buster has a lot to answer for.

Terrible result , top 4 gone now IMO

Cook Worrall not good enough , if Stevie isnt fit he shouldn't be riding , dumping Etheridge made / makes no sense at all,

Then doesn't seclect Max in the last heat  !!

Not Lemons greatest week as a manager

Jye would have out scored both belle vue reserves tonight he was improving every meeting and as for cook and Worrall that is pathetic from 1 and 2. The team manager seems to be losing the plot for his decisions this week. I think that the lemon needs to be squeezed.

Can understand why Lemon went for Tungate target than Fricke in the decider as Fricke had been 5-1'd in 13 and Tungate won 14. Close call though and no doubt if Fricke had been in it and finished last people would be asking why Tungate wasn't nominated.....

100 million percent fricke and bewley should have been heat 15.

Drozdz should have been in heat 14

Great meeting but horrific result for us

I agree Phil,  you must put your captain in a heat like this with Dan. A 3-3 was enough. Was Max OK?

I think similar to Belle Vue Ace, the only three I would want to keep for next year are Fricke, Bewley & Tungate,

Cook is just a gating tart, and rarely overtakes anyone at Belle Vue. In heat 13 tonight he just got in Fricke's way. As we are now unlikely to make the playoffs, now is the time to plan for next year.

Yet another delayed start to the meeting, 8.00 PM when the tapes went up for the first race, management don't give a stuff for the fans who have planned ahead and got there in good time. We might just as well advertise an 8.00 PM start.

Congratulations to the Stars. When it came to the crunch, hts 13 & 15, Lambert and Iversen delivered. Iversen used all his experience & trackcraft in heat 15 to check Bewley's momentum coming off the fourth bend lap 2 when it looked like Dan was gonna swoop round him again. He's a class act NKI, fair play.

Just a mention too for heat 11 involving Fricke, Lambert & Erik Riss - heart in my mouth as they passed & re-passed - not to mention both Fricke & Lambert nearly coming off their bikes at different points, 100% commitment from all three, breathtaking action!

Dire as a racetrack maybe but smooth, consistent and free of holes, ruts and bumps. Meaning all four riders can go flat out with confidence rather than worrying about being thrown off course.

Just a comment on the late start. Heard Max Fricke was at the track on time, but  van with his gear was delayed. Maybe Phil the Ace or Rob will know if that's true. Max wasn't in his racesuit at 7.30pm anyway.

You heard correct. Max van pulled up at 19:35 then all aces mechanics rushed to get his stuff out. That was real reason for delay.

Have already tweeted Speedway GB suggesting that posting the video of that race might be a good idea in terms of showcasing how brilliant their product can be. It had everything - speed, skill, showing total trust in your rival - oh & having cojones the size of melons! :approve:

Meeting delayed to let fans in, bloody hell we must be a good attraction!!

Regular speedway fans will recognise that the 'people queuing to get in' excuse is often used to disguise something else.  It was obvious that the track had not been prepared to the liking of the home management because Mark Lemon was out on the track on his own at 7.20pm with a rake!! The usual interviews with the respective managers took a back seat.

In the early exchanges the track provided sub 60 second times, but wasn't at its best in providing chances to pass.

Constant 'tractor racing' all the way through gradually provided a surface that served up some of the amazing races normally associated with the NSS.
