therefused 809 Posted August 6, 2018 Just seems strange that all of a sudden a team is riding on an off night
Steve Shovlar 10,424 Posted August 6, 2018 (edited) Sensible move to fit this in. A spare week after the demise of Rye, and a big holiday crowd. What’s not to like? Edited August 6, 2018 by Steve Shovlar

I'm just waiting for the accusation of "cheating" by arranging a meeting on a Thursday. 1

ray c 2,299 Posted August 7, 2018 Let's hope Leicester can be a little more competitive on Thursday evening than last night at Wolverhampton nothing worse than a one sided speedway meeting
justathought 374 Posted August 7, 2018 (edited) In fairness I would'nt count on it. Think they would probably struggle in the Championship at the moment Edited August 7, 2018 by nightshift
Baldyman 6,243 Posted August 7, 2018 How come this is on a Thursday?

Rye were due on Wednesday but as Leicester are riding at Swindon tomorrow Thursday was a good option, especially with a big crowd expected this time of year. Win win all round. How does that work exactly?
