Wolves v Leicester 6/8/18

Recommended Posts

I see no thread for this one.

Wolves give a debut to Jonas B Andersen in the main body of the team with Tom Bacon guest for Nathan Greaves in reserve.

Surely Wolves should have enough to see off the Lions?

Thoughts??

Hopefully with Ash back at reserve we should have enough to get the job done. Can't see the so called Monmore specialists Robson and Nicholls causing too much trouble to the scorers. Anderson does tend to go well though 50-40 my prediction.

Bringing along my eldest daughter and nephew for their first taste is live speedway tonight and they are very excited so hope it's a decent meeting.

Paul Starke guests for Josh Auty who crashed heavily at Workington over the weekend.

From the OS's preview of tonight's match. Who writes this guff, it's one of the many reasons speedway is going down the gurgler. The first sentence is fine, the 2nd insults folks intelligence. Should read : 'The 25-year-old has been signed in place of Cameron Heeps and comes highly recommended by Championship outfit Redcar one of whose directors just happens to be Wolves Promoter Chris Van Straaten so it's the easy/cheap option'.

WOLVERHAMPTON hand a debut to Danish racer Jonas B Andersen when they host Midland rivals Leicester at Monmore Green on Monday (7.30).

The 25-year-old has been signed in place of Cameron Heeps and comes highly recommended by Championship outfit Redcar.

That sounds like a improvement, Starke always good value at Monmore.

Starke is a far better top flight rider than Auty.  Definitely improves them.

Looks like it's now David Howe guesting not Paul Starke.

It’s now David Howe instead of Starke who was instead of Auty.

Not only do we change our 1-7 with amazing regularity, we now change our guests within hours too.

Oh well.

Easier than expected victory. Good debut from Jonas. Leicester look dreadful so will reserve judgement until we face a stronger team.

This new Leicester reserve looks good, potential champion I reckon. :wink:

What chance of a last minute swap of Howe for Morris before the deadline? Don't know if averages fit but Morris doesnt look like trouble the scorers at the minute. Jonas was great tonight but his big test comes on Wednesday.
