Don’t think Max has ever found his way to ride bigger tracks let alone lost it. Our reserves were poor and while Josh is exciting to watch he needs to address his gating problems. Points make prizes and the Bandits won fair and square with a great team effort. We need our three heat leaders firing on all cylinders if we want to make play offs.

Not Pickering's track at all. Last night was light years away from a brilliant performance he banged in at Scunthorpe - where you can pass inside or out - recently.

Hardly a great advert for your No1 though is it, didn't make the gate that was that.

I wasn’t going to mention the gate & win situation at Berwick again but since you want to have a go at our riders.....

What about your no1 in ht 1 / your no3 in ht 3 / your no5 in ht 7 / your no’s1&5 in ht 13 who didn’t make the gate and that as you say, was that

The Berwick number 1 would be a second string at Edinburgh. Heat 1 he was right on Victor's tail for most of the race, heard no. 3 bike faulty in heat 3 (about when Josh passed him), no5 up with Josh most of the race until going into the pits on last bend, heat 13 were racing each other instead of worrying about catching the Edinburgh riders. Ricky is a lot better rider than getting beat by a big margin (he could ride the same line as he did when he was in front).

Did you think there was a lot of difference in the track at Berwick at the start of the season when it was rained off and the track at Edinburgh on Friday night before the start?

Good luck for the rest of the season if Berwick don't make the playoffs.

Not having a go at any rider, it was another poster who claimed Ricky`s attitude was if he didn't make the gate that was that, Ricky round Berwick should be better than that and able to pass or at least mount a challenge as he is one of the leagues best riders round Shielfield.

As for gate and go around Berwick, that isn't a new problem.

Wasn’t saying that he wasn’t trying, he was saying he couldn’t make an impression or mount a challenge on the rider in front of him ev n though when he was in front he was probably the fastest rider on show.
