Wolves are riding for 4th place. But doesn't look like it tonight luckily for us aces fans.

Very poor from wolves.

It’s all setup for Monday now Phil.

Glad it went well tonight. Season ticket for NCFC meant I missed the meetings.

Up to 3rd in the table and with a trip to Leicester on Monday surely yielding something, it sets up Wednesday’s meeting with Poole nicely.

Bye bye Wolves. Toothless so far. Another team to discount out the top 4.

Toothless more like useless away from home worst team away from home in league and been that way for years

Decent crowd and some good races by the sound of it and six points, a positive evening all round. Hope MPT is ok.

Yep first meeting was a rout, our boys were just on fire. As expected the Wolves boys preferred the slicker conditions in the 2nd so were more effective.  But still our guys were giving it 100% to come away with another heady win, just what we wanted :D

MPT has hurt his ankle (wrong, it's his knee) although together with the interviews I couldn't hear a thing on the 1st bend, so annoying, hope something can be done, our speakers take away from the night grrrr

Trees ,we get exactly the same problem in the stand behind the starting gate! we have all asked Nathan for more than 2years to.please sort it out and last night he stood in front of the speaker and said " it's working" only for all around us to tell him we couldn't hear it!. He walked away. good result tonight a d it showed yet again how much better the racing is on a slicker track

Strange night,  but still enjoyed it.   Some  things you wouldn't believe and others was truly amazing.   A big well done to Buster and his team for the track he prepared, and for the staff and Ref for the way the races flowed.  What a pity Wolves turned up late, and then with only half a team.     The first meeting was an embarrassment,  a rout, only kept from the record books by a couple late wins by Sam Masters added to those EF the Stars suffered.  if it wasn't for them the score would have been nearer 70  than 60...     Although the Stars were on fire, it would have been more enjoyable had Wolves put up more of a fight.     It would be wrong to single out Lambert for his majestic display, as all the team to a man contributed to the cause.  The only last places the Stars recorded were those wretched EF''s.   The absence and subsequent R/R for Niels wasn't a factor for Lynn,  but for Wolves   Rory was sorely missed...

It was amazing how the first meeting flowed.  Parade started at 10-2-7.  First race dead on the dot at 7pm.   Last race finished  8-23pm.  that included  3 tape  reruns, and 2 EF,  I don't believe there were any falls,    ( why cant they do this every week???) .   Then we had a 40min interval,   the second meeting started 9-05pm   The  first race finished in another 5-1 to the Stars but the time was  significantly slower.   This was to be a different match, a track much more to Wolves liking.   A lot slicker that produced some excellent and close racing.   The result was never in doubt  but Wolves were now making a fist of it .    Thorsell and Masters were consistent heat winners and along with Howarth showed much more appetite  to race.  Thorsell had the glory of the only man to lower  Lamberts  colours in a tremendous scrap. Sometimes only inches apart  he resisted all Roberts efforts to win a memorable race.   Race win of the night has to go to Jorgensen in heat 6  when he  races from last to first with his exciting round the board style.   Master and Howarth were on a 5-1  before TJ  split them .  Masters then took to the boards as well, but Jorgensen found the speed when it mattered going to the line.      Fantastic race.

After a jittery start of the first 4 races, the second meeting  flowed like the first.  The last race finished at 10-28pm.     All 30 races had been run  and 6 pts safely in the bank.   I felt sorry for Wolves and their fans,   In  truth they never stood a chance against the rampant Stars.   To come here with such a weak team they were like lambs to the slaughter.     They will have a hard task to pick themselves up from this mauling.    Their chances of making the  PO having taken a real jolt.   Looking at the league this morning, it appears Somerset, Poole and KL  have distance themselves now and that  BV , Swindon and Wolves will al be fighting for that last spot.

I was more than happy with the nights entertainment  and felt it was well worth the extra cost.    So A big well done to all concerned...….. :t:

A huge well done to the management and staff in running both meetings smoothly. Perfect results for the Stars. Are we seeing a side finally clicking all together at the right time?!?

Great meeting, well done to all. Second looked like it would be a lot closer after a couple of heats, but then stretched out.

Could do with more volume through the speakers on the back straight please, could only just hear Edwin.

Onwards and upwards.

Morris, Kus and Sarjeant didn't beat a single Kings Lynn rider and RR for Schlein scored 6+1 in both meetings and only beat Toft (x2), Proctor and Riss in both meetings. Maybe Belle Vue didn't want Cook or Fricke to guest as it could affect their play off hopes but surely someone like Garrity would have been a better option in a double header.

Good to see they had a decent crowd even though £27 seems a bit expensive but maybe pricing a meeting at under £1 a race is they way forward. At £13.50 a meeting shows that lower admission costs can work and hopefully in one main league at Championship level next year it can be £12-14 maximum and look at increasing the attendance rather than increase the prices for the few that still go.

Both of these meetings were always going to be a trouncing. Unfortunately the Wolves just haven't lived up to the hype this year.

Wouldn't cook and frickes average be too high?

No, he has a very good CMA this year albeit bolstered by a high home average, which is over 2.3 points higher than his away average.
