What would your dream season Calendar be?

Recommended Posts

The idea is, what 11 or 12 tracks would you like to see all in one season in the speedway gp calendar. They dont need to be in order. Just the venues
Heres mine

1. Auckland, New Zealand

2. Terenzano, Italy

3. Daugavpils, Latvia

4. Cardiff, UK

5. Krsko, Slovenia

6. Manchester, Uk

7. Gotenberg, Sweden

8. Copenhagen, Denmark

9. Riga, Latvia (Because they never got to host the event theyd been given)

10. Togliatti, Russia

11. That new track in Poland thats at the Olympic stadium

12. Oreti Park Speedway, New Zealand

I'll even do the order:

1) Moore Park Speedway, Christchurch - Near Christchurch Airport and named after Ronnie Moore

2) Sydney  (preferably Stadium Australia) - In NSW, the birthplace of Speedway. Can get a direct flight from Christchurch (Possibly have NZ on ANZAC day [Thursday] and AUS on Saturday)

3) Olympic Stadium, Warsaw - Big Stadium GP as Curtainraiser to the European Season

4) Prague - Deserve to keep one as they have done it for a long time

5) Daugapils

6) Teterow,

7) Manchester

8) Cardiff - Back to back weeks make it a FESTIVAL OF SPEEDWAY week in the UK, with big individuals at different tracks throughout the week

- SPEEDWAY WORLD CUP/SON (Both bi-annual)

9) Wroclaw - Mainly because the city is amazing

10) Krsko - See Prague

11) Gothenburg - Need a Stadium GP in Scandinavia

12) Terenzano

13) Horsens - Better track than Vojens

14) Torun - Biggest Speedway specialist stadium in the world.

The same as Göteborg/Ullevi being suggested as an arena in a dream season. No offence to you who suggested it but it's awful arena (for speedway)
since it way too big and  the track has always been a mess. Then we have the very small factor that it rains more often in Göteborg then it does at Målilla.

Western Springs to kick it off followed by one in Aussie. 10 European ones, 3 being in Poland (take your pick from the brilliant race tracks), Cardiff, NSS, Daugvapils, Prague, one each in Sweden and Denmark, leaving one more somewhere else...not Teranzano though nor Teterow, nor that track in Finland which hosted a couple...

I think somewhere like Malaysia or Japan would really embrace the Grand Prix as an event and get massive crowds in - particularly in Japan.
