Some of the riders should have eased off once we reached 49 points in any meeting, providing the management knew what they were doing and still paid them.  It is annoying when the team does well and we have to lose good riders.  This has happened in the past with Batch and Kildemand increasing their averages then getting dropped the following season.

Its just Swindon's turn this time mate - it happens to most successful teams sooner or later!!:D

Then good riders either ride for another team or give up and only ride abroad, fans lose interest, even the young ones who have built up an affinity with a certain rider, and less attend the meetings yet the bspa still wonder why clubs are suffering financially.

So, if there is one rider over 8 allowed, I would guess that we will lose Batch, Tobias (who has hinted at not riding in the UK next year) and Vissing (who has a bit of a "one season" look about him - but may still be in if the averages fit).

That gives us:

Doyle: 8.96

Jensen 7.86

Ellis 6.49

Perks 3.57

Total: 26.88 with 15.62 remaining.

So:

Morris 5.38 & Bellego 5.80 then leaves 4.44 for the final rider.

Vissing is 4.43.

Sorted.

I agree - but a bit harsh on Batch who has been epic this season.

Yes. Personally I hope we get to keep our top 2. That team I tried above did come together remarkably easily though.

Trouble is, we don’t know if there’ll be two leagues or one league and what the team building limit will be.

If it’s one league and a 38 point limit we’ll be lucky to have Jensen and Ellis!

If that is the team limit and TR  wants Jason in the team other parts of the team will be weak, unless Rosco can find a couple of ringers.

You think Swindon has problems.Lynn finished second bottom, but second on team averages to the Robins. 45.26 to 45.16

99% certain it won't be one league - not with extra money coming in from Eurosport if their deal is confirmed! Just a matter of how many teams in the Premiership? Terry Russell hoped at least 8.

Can only be good news that’s its not one big league. Would be kiss of death.

After a great win last night you have to say the vision of Rossiter sticking to a cracking top five has worked a treat. The changes at reserve has worked wonders and there contribution has made a huge difference.Rasmus well what can you say none of us could of predicted his scoring potential he has been immense great from the back as well he usually makes at least one pass a meeting. The signing of Jensen has to be one of the best signing's to help win a championship since Peter Ravn moved from Belle Vue to Cradley in 1983.

Err ... how about when we signed Musielak?

His average increased from 4.53 to 7.57.
