Was the 80th meeting won by Rory Schlein with a 15 point max and the semi final and final a washout with a big monsoon of rain.Think I was impressed with Travis Mgowan and the outside leg trailing. Also was there not talk of kasparak and another rider but had to pull out beacause of polish meeting earlier in the week.

You could be right as I also remember Schlein winning a meeting but I also remember a meeting v Peterborough where I am sure the entrance fee was reduced to accommodate an anniversary could of been £8:50 for 85th though

He is quality. We must have the only managers in league who when they have a rider of that ability and when 5 or 6 of your other riders are struggling for consistency don’t give him 7 rides!

The other lads are struggling for consistency at the min unfortunately and a lot of pressure is on Worrall, Wethers and Clegg to win us meetings as Jorgensen and bjerre generally only score 5 to 7 points a match.

Comments spot on. Somerset came with schlein a brough track specialist covatti massive toon halls bomber on his day on this league ( a class act ) & Morris had his riding head on

. Well deserved win for them but why didn't Roy go with weathers in 15 with max

Somerset were much sharper out of the gate than us tonight even making Harris look like an unreal starter... that said Jorgensen and Bjerre were pretty pathetic. Worrall wasn’t much better and he looked really slow and wasn’t making starts at all. 1 win off 13 rides from your heatleaders at home and it’s not hard to see why we lost the meeting.

Luckily we had Clegg if we didn’t who knows what the score would’ve been.

Yes after the 5-1 in 14 I thought Wethers would of been in 15.

Unfortunately we were gating poorly tonight and got beat off a 4 man team, I was very surprised especially with how well Morris rode.

Totally agree, maybe if Clegg had the extra 2 rides though we would of drew/won! I dont mind if riders on form but we only had Clegg on form and Danny Phillips did well, the rest were average/poor and slow out of the gate.

Clegg did have one extra ride didn’t he? Bjerre was unlucky I think in heat 12 he was trying to protect Clegg until Schlein got past him then Bjerre just gave up which I hate.

Yes but could of had 7 in total, and the way our other lads were riding he should have.

I might of been tempted to put him in heat 13 in place of Jorgensen but that would of gave him 5 on the trot ( including heat 15) .. Who would be a team manager

Yes i thought of heat 13 maybe if was up to it but also could of been in heat 9, and should always be in heat 8. Yes it means Phillips has to stay in heat 12 but should guarantee you a 5-1 in heat 8.

Our manager seems to make same changes and it never varies at all, and never gets extra rides apart from heat 14.

Thank God for max clegg !!!!

Too true. A couple of our "Riders????" Should be looking over their shoulders. Jorgensen or Bjerre should have been taken out in one of their earlier races. Other teams,in fact every other team in the League do this. If one of their reserves is flying nearly always give him 7 rides. Newcastle do not. Bjerre and Jorgensen cost us tonight. If Jorgensen not fit use R/R for him. Rubbish tonight on his 250.cc.

Unfortunately. And unfortunately we had too many underpowered tonight. Jorgensen terrible. He was always a good gater for all the teams he rode for before he signed for us. Now he's rubbishe.
