He attempted to ride in one meeting but his broken hand was too painful and his season was over. It was so bad it affected the start of the following season. We ended up going to Wolves with r/r and ran out of steam in the last few races as we had no heat leaders. Kyle Newman rode his socks off to keep us in it. If Andersen had been fit he would have ridden. The x-ray photographs showed how bad it was. His problem was not being able to drop the clutch at starts. He even tried using his other hand but failed. Didn`t Poole replace Andersen with Lindback- who then cried off on the day of the semi !!!

foreverblue 6,093 Posted August 26, 2018 How does a Belle Vue v Wolves thread end up being about Poole?
Steve Shovlar 10,439 Posted August 26, 2018 Lindback rode one meeting then failed to show saying he had belly ache. Andersen was out for the season. We went to Wolves with no main heat leader.

Aces51 2,778 Posted August 26, 2018 Just the usual rubbish. If we were against Poole SS would be telling us we were stronger with r/r. It's not going to be so easy with only Worrall and the 2 reserves able to take Dan's rides but assuming Riss has recovered, we should have enough to beat Wolves and send them away pointless. I’ve booked tickets for the grandstand. Any advice regarding parking and eating at the stadium or any other useful information I might need ?? Plenty of official parking off Kirkmanshulme Lane (£3) plus street parking and unofficial car parks at Showcase and Bingo. For food there is hotdogs, burgers, pies, pastys and chips. But if getting there early I recommend you go up to the Peter Craven Suite through glass doors and have brunch : https://bellevueaces.co/news/2018/8/22/bank-holiday-brunch
