Can we just forget about Speedway and have seven riders like the poster shows, there is one thing for sure, I will not be leaving after 9 heat like last Friday.

This could be an entertaining meeting between the two wooden spoon contenders, and both teams riding without reserves !!!!!!

Suppose we will be there once again, a bloody glutton for punishment, what with a big supporter of Scunthorpe Utd and the Scorpions, no wonder my hair is now white.

And as stated a team like the poster shows would be fine, and it would probably score moreĀ  bloody points than the present team !!!!!!!!!!

According to Speedway Updates, Kyle Howarth has withdrawn from the Wolves team tonight, after receiving wrist and arm injuries when falling in heat 1. Hope he isn't too badly hurt.

Should be ok as we are back to having only 3 meetings on a Friday . As some teams squeezed themselves into the Friday nights racing early in the season when not many riders were missing through one reason or another, the wet start to the season then the hot few weeks, you would have thought some teams would have tried to catch up meetings or re-arrange later meetings, if possible of rider availability, while the good weather was here. But no as they say fixtures were agreed at the start of the season & that's how it should be. Now we have had a period of wet weather & tracks have softened up a bit. It is reported on the updates that track conditions are catching riders out & there has been too many injuries this last couple of weeks through one reason or another. Best wishes to all riders that have been injured recently but shows that rules need changing, again, as they always do, to allow replacements for season ending injuries happening after the transfer cut off date. Happened last year with Wolves & Belle Vue & Poole suffered not long ago. If a rider does return through intensive treatment, whetherĀ  here or abroad, then the facility of the replacement is withdrawn.

Not a pop at your post at all, the best compromise would have been for clubs to try and accept rearranged dates and not decline because their injured number 1 wouldn't be back or can't visit you then because we are due at xxx the next day and the latter was from a club that had less than 100 miles to travel from one club to the next. How many times have Glasgow, Edinburgh, Berwick, Somerset and Plymouth travelled the length of the country on back to back fixtures.Ā

The spirit of I'm all right jack is alive and well in the BSPA!

if thats the case any reason why Scunthorpe re-arranged fixtures when their No1 wasnt back?

R/R for Shanes is an absolute joke

1 the meeting is on Saturday

2 Practice is on Saturday at 14.30pm local

3 meeting starts at 20.15pm local

4 Morizes is 44 miles only from Bordeaux airport

5 It is against the rules that any facility is given apart from race day- i quote

" k) is on FIM Longtrack Championship duty (for the day of the Meeting only; no facility is permitted for practice day)"

It is somewhat ironic that they are racing Scunthorpe who have history in being allowed illegal guests for riders doing longtrack.

Edit 6.55am Birmingham arr 10.00 am bordeaux Flybe Saturday 1st September
