Schwantz34 15 Posted March 18, 2019 What a great weekend in Inzell, fabulous racing throughout on Saturday and a tremendous final on Sunday. They really do the track cleaning quickly and efficiently. First of all congratulations to the winners and podium finishers, secondly hats off to Ledstrom who was going so well Saturday and rode well through the pain barrier on Sunday. Good luck to Gunther Bauer, nice to see Weber wishing him all the best even after their past issues. Sorely tempted to book flights to Holland now !!!!!!! Conkers 66 Posted March 19, 2019 (edited) Pictures from Saturday https://iancharlesphotos.net/160319-inzell-final-41 Pictures from Sunday https://iancharlesphotos.net/170319-inzell-final-42 I have this sneaking feeling that young Dinar Valeev could well walk away with a gold medal this year. But with four riders separated by 6 points it's going to go down to the wire! Edited March 19, 2019 by Conkers
Schwantz34 15 Posted March 19, 2019 Him and Ivanov have to be favourites but I suppose you can never write off Koltakov
DutchGrasstrack 804 Posted March 19, 2019 Anything can happen with these Russians, I can't wait for Heerenveen My money is on Valeev.
James Carter 62 Posted March 19, 2019 I think Koltatov would need two full maximums to make up the points on Valeev & Ivanov. If it was on a Russian track I think he would have a chance as he seems to excel when the ice gets badly cut up in the Russian Super League. If the ice is well prepped I cant see him doing it as he is consistently slower out of the gate than his main rivals

steve69 49 Posted March 20, 2019 Excellent weekend in Inzell. Looks really popular as well & seems to be getting bigger & better every year. Looked at Hotels for 2020 & the one we had is already sold out. Managed to get an apartment nearby on a free cancellation just in case I have got the dates wrong. Is there going to be a Gunther Bauer meeting in Inzell on the thursday evening prior to the saturday/sunday? Nice to see Conkers & Buxton Tiger.
DutchGrasstrack 804 Posted March 20, 2019 Yes Gunther Bauer will get a farewell meeting from the Inzell club. It will be held on the thursday. Bauer can select the riders so I can see Krasnikov riding there. Inzell was sold out on the saturday, and nearly sold out on the sunday Very very well organised club. Think the best on the calendar. Next years date should be on the same weekend. We also booked already an apartment.
