A critical meeting this for the Brummies as realistically if they get 0 points then they’ll finish below Plymouth, let alone the others!

Spiller scored 6+2 from 4 with a fall from reserve las time at Plymouth. With R/R for Shane's all other riders are able to cover his rides. Guess that's the logic behind his inclusion.

At this stage of the season getting any rider to take a guest booking at Plymouth is tough. With Brennan already booked & Spiller over here and available its a logical choice. Even so i fear the Brum reserve pairing will get very little and that will swing that match. Tells a bit of a story when Adam Sheppard could be a match decider.

Can anyone explain the use of Ethan Spiller ? is he a track specialist or something ?

Anyone worth their salt on a 4.something average hasn’t had a great season so far. So they’ve plumpted for someone on an assessed/false average.

with david mason in charge you just have to face that there's strong and friendly ties with eastbourne even if it's only at the top  :P .  going to this one so will be cheering on the devils and tom and ethan so that will be strange.

Well that was a bit unexpected, didnt expect to win let alone get all 4 points. It keeps us in with a hope of a playoff place with 3 meetings left. A big thanks to the guests that performed so well, Brennan has guested for us a few times now and each times hes done well.

Really pleased for Josh, I know Plymouth had Dugard withdrawn early on ( hope he gets well soon) but thats a great score from him. Tom fantastic yet again at the top, big score after big score this season. A class act at this level for sure.

Realistically we only had a 4 man team, especially when Kelsey was withdrawn, heat 2 was a give away and it continued from there. This season has just been one injury after another for many teams, we have been hard hit as have the Brummies ....much easier to get a guest up there  though than to get someone down to Plymouth on a Friday evening. The green sheet averages have always been against us as well, not sure how a rider who has been injured and not ridden for two years has an average to come back with as a heat leader. But hey what do I know :-(   the 6/7 slot have been our problem for a few meetings. Adam has tried hard, sometimes too hard and I don't think Kelsey's head has been in the right place after his departure from Eastbourne. Let's see what next season brings :-)

Can anyone explain why Baron Ethan von Spiller is even allowed in the National League, having represented Germany, and riden in Germany for more than he's been over here. Don't he and his brother identify more as Germans than as Brits as well?

You seem to have trouble with this question and answer thing. You have asked at least once before and have had an answer on this......

Probably won't be the last time we get a post along these lines from the Count(?)Martin of the UK

You may or probably won't remember the attempt to get Dutch rider Pascal Swart an NL team place?

Is the situation really any different to Mitchell Davey, rode in numerous Australian championships in speedway and long track before riding over here. Does he think of himself more Australian or British? Doesn't matter,he's here within the rules as is Ethan Spiller, please to have them both ( hope Mitchell recovers fully and rides here again). I know he didn't ride for Australia, but that's only because of the different standard of rider's in Australia and Germany.

There's a slight misspelt word in there somewhere - I'll leave it with you...………………. ;)
