So Lynn can use R. Worrall at Somerset.. ??? Toft 5.65..... Worrall 5.81 .. fits with the 5%.. Or was the 5% away rule for 1 meeting only? Daniel Smith 5,658 Posted October 15, 2018 3 hours ago, Aces51 said: There is no supplementary regulation on the SCB website that would confirm that to be true. Wasn't it just an agreement reached between the 2 teams, BSPA and SCB, which is unfortunately, typical of the way the sport is run and why it lacks any credibility. The 5% at home can be argued as justified because most riders have a higher home average than their GSA but the opposite is true of away averages and makes adding 5% ridiculous. How 2019 will work. Teams built for winning at home only. Away from home teams will ride with 7 guests who are track specialists to that paticular track.

Skidder1 7,634 Posted October 16, 2018 Well some plans for 2019 must already be in place as some riders are already being contacted!!!
Dickie Head 247 Posted October 16, 2018 So according to the club website, the sponsorship with Volvo Cars Poole is at an end and a vacancy for a new main sponsor in 2019 exists.

Midland Red 2,383 Posted October 16, 2018 Perhaps the local cart dealer could take over from the present incumbent - or at least become the main sponsor

The main team sponsorship is a tricky one I guess, but we'll see.

It's not local but I'm surprised they haven't considered a tie in with these guys.....http://www.fastonepizza-smethwick.co.uk/ The Poole 'Fast One' Pirates would resonate with speedway fans all over the world giving both parties global exposure. They could also provide the bikes for next seasons imported star reserve.

I would think that with all the stunts pulled by Poole over the years surely a tie up with Evel Knievel would be more appropriate? The Evel Pirates? Looking at the hole on bend 1, Pollyfilla could be a shout but I'm not sure they do a tube in that size....
