The announcer at Kings Lynn said that Morris was able to ride as the 5% extra for home meetings had been extended to away fixtures as well.

So Lynn can use R. Worrall at Somerset.. ??? Toft 5.65..... Worrall 5.81 .. fits with the 5%.. Or was the 5% away rule for 1 meeting only?

What about the rest of the post you missed out. Do you know if the 5% rule was for 1 meeting only?

There is no supplementary regulation on the SCB website that would confirm that to be true. Wasn't it just an agreement reached between the 2 teams, BSPA and SCB, which is unfortunately, typical of the way the sport is run and why it lacks any credibility.

The 5% at home can be argued as justified because most riders have a higher home average than their GSA but the opposite is true of away averages and makes adding 5% ridiculous.

How 2019 will work.

Teams built for winning at home only. Away from home teams will ride with 7 guests who are track specialists to that paticular track.

Maybe, but i certainly cannot see 6 man teams increasing attendances anywhere, imo it will do the exact opposite. imo.

Swindon had a 6 man side most of the season...yes you may have a point!

So according to the club website, the sponsorship with Volvo Cars Poole is at an end and a vacancy for a new main sponsor in 2019 exists.

Perhaps the local cart dealer could take over from the present incumbent - or at least become the main sponsor

Whether he stays or goes he said he wouldn';t leave the club - or the fans - in the lurch, so the usual planning continues as normal.

The main team sponsorship is a tricky one I guess, but we'll see.

Matt Ford will stay unless a buyer can be found.

It's not local but I'm surprised they haven't considered a tie in with these guys.....http://www.fastonepizza-smethwick.co.uk/

The Poole 'Fast One' Pirates would resonate with speedway fans all over the world giving both parties global exposure.

They could also provide the bikes for next seasons imported star reserve. :D

I would think that with all the stunts pulled by Poole over the years surely a tie up with Evel Knievel would be more appropriate?  The Evel Pirates? :P

Looking at the hole on bend 1, Pollyfilla could be a shout but I'm not sure they do a tube in that size....
