Haha, it's funny when people take DC's little wind ups seriously!!

Oh and I'm not one to point out spelling but it's 'fair' :)

And you don’t believe Somerset and Kings Lynns  injuries handed the title to Poole on a plate then!

You needed a moment of brilliance from Harris to beat a 5 man team and then won by 4 points against a team without a star rider and top reserve...... no Poole were definitely the best team lol

Poole were very fortunate with the way things went.

This type of thing happens so much in a dangerous sport.

A soccer or rugby team would bring in other players from their squad or an injured player would be substituted. Not practical in speedway but a squad system would make more of an even playing field.

Or if Somerset didn’t lose Holder, or have only 1 rider in a race

Poole can only beat what’s in front of them not their fault but they got lucky

As for Harris he was bang average in both legs of the final so on his higher average and the fact he is declining makes perfect sense for him not to be at Poole.

He has the odd good ride here and there like the Doyle race but they are few and far between and although it gets the crowd going and boosts morale , ultimately speedway is about points scoring and Harris isn’t good enough on that new average

Gavan, 2 times in one week.

Poole aren’t always in the wrong. No one cares that Leicester had 2 riders.

Just get on with and see what happens in 2019.

Sounds like we are going strength in depth.

Rumours of Covatti signing for the Pirates are gathering pace.

1. Brady Kurtz 7.05

2. Linus Sundstrom 6.04

3. Nicolai Klindt 6.61

4. Kacper Woryna 6.36

5. Josh Grajczonek 6.70

6. Fredrik Jakobsen 5.04

7. Nico Covatti 4.70

= 42.50

Forget Sundstrom and Grajczoneck then use the 12.74 to release Kurtz from the number one position and Jakobsen riding in the main body with a new reserve to partner Covatti.

1-  new number one

2- Jakobsen

3- Woryna

4- Klindt

5- Kurtz

6- Covatti

7-  reserve capable of moving up

Covatti would a good signing at reserve. Grajczonek is decent in middle order. Klindt & Woryna both had confidence boosting spells at reserve last year, starting on 6+ averages for 2019 Poole can't afford such a luxury. Wouldn't touch either.

Even in the relatively weak British league, not sure Kurtz will ever make a #1.

But how is this pooles fault.

Its the BSPAs fault.

Leicester should also be DQ then.

And Somerset.

Grajczonek will be one of the first names on the team sheet for 2019. That's what Matt said he would do if he was going to pick the team.

matt says a lot of things they are not always correct :D

Can't see where another number 1 is going to appear from, they are so thin on the ground now.  I'd be surprised if sundstrom is back.

Now that would be a great signing... How reliable he'd be though is another question!
