Skidder - I support Poole and Brady is a Poole rider so no problem in my book posting on Poole 2019.

i have been shouting about how highly I rated Brady since he arrived here at 16. Early in that first  season I even emailed Matt/the Club  try and sign him up as looked a future World Star. I am not a Brady knocker. However whichever way you put it, other young stars seem to be developing quicker around Europe (incl in my book young Jack Holder) and he is if anything going a bit backwards which is what concerns me.

Yes the POL EXL is brutal and maybe not so easy riding with Emil. However not every race he is paired with Emil plus other younger riders seem to be overtaking him progress wise.

I 100% hope he does push on and maybe he is more of a slower developer having originally impressed so highly that the topPOL EXL team signed him on a long term contract and put him in their first team. However the fact is that after the baptism of fire of his initial season and getting used to all the commuting UK/POL/SWE he has not pushed on in my book. He is now coming to the end of his 6th Season riding in UK and is about to turn 23.

Maybe a move away from being amongst so many top riders in one team may do his confidence some good but at the same time not so good for confidence if he does get dropped.  Its a simple decision for Leszno of him or Hampel have to go so not as if that's an easy one.

As for Poole his GSA is still decent enough to keep him as it has the potential to still improve in a grossly inferior league.

The problem Poole will have is that IF Chris Holder is allowed back who would make way ???. Klindt has arguably been their best rider this season and swapping for Holder in my book won't strengthen them even if Holder has a POSSIBLY attractive 7.16 GSA. But that's a discussion for later ;-)

I hear what you say but maybe the other young riders you refer to haven't had the concussion that Brady has had this year!! I'm not surprised if he's being a little more cautious in a brutal league up against the world's best. As for Jack he hasn't exactly been the saviour of Torun this year has he?  Maybe they would both benefit from a season in the Polish first division rather than Ekstraliga? I well remember Middlo saying not to put too much pressure on them too soon as yhey are not the 'new' turbo twins.

I love your attempt at trying to deflect the allegations against Poole

Palm Toft pulled out when Redcar raced at Eastbourne after 2 rides.

He then missed numerous matches for Redcar and Kings Lynn.............you know Kings Lynn...the track that MPT flies around......you know Kings Lynn.....the team that cant make the play offs.....you know Kings Lynn....nothing to gain from Palm Toft not riding....

Ricky Wells RODE a full meeting for Edinburgh on Sunday

He then was declared 'unfit to ride at Kings Lynn...you know Kings Lynn.... a track that Wells is awful at

Poole want to finish top............everything to gain for replacing Wells

Wells then deemed 'unfit' to ride at Poole Thursday.......Poole get in track specialist Douglas in.

Wells like 'Lazurus' is able the next evening to not only ride for Edinburgh but get a maximum

If you think the Palm Toft/Wells situations are the same that you are quite clearly deluded..........as proved that your post was liked by Shovlar lol

If Wells does not ride Monday..does not do the play offs...then its cheating plain and simple......Poole speedway mantra

Gavan I don't know if Wells will ride Monday. I hope he does. However what I do know is that he rode 5 meetings in 5 days (1 Poole and 4xEdinburgh) where his scores got progressively worse because he knackered his shoulder again. He requested time off to get the intensive physio on his shoulder injury which allowed him to race again  last night. Fact. However there was also a rumour at Poole on Thursday that he had asked to stand down from Premiership racing. Some people believe that to mean for the rest of the season. Others took it to mean only last week's meeting. We shall see come Monday.

Incidentally THJ is missing from the Berwick lineup today due to a prior longtrack commitment!

If Wells has stood down we won’t see him Monday. Best options for reserve Lasse Bjerre with his championship average?

Bjerre has a PL average and that is to high.

I don’t. He has been very poor and I don’t want to see his return with the form he was showing. Let’s have guests that are horses for courses. It will give us a better chance and we can all laugh as the faux outraged  Gavan pretends blows a fuse.

He has been in poor form for quite a few weeks for Poole hasn't he?If that is the case, why didn't Poole get rid of him just before the transfer deadline. It would have all been done according to the rules then you wouldn't get all this nonsense.

The facts are MPT didn't ride thursday but rode friday, Wells didn't ride thursday but rode friday. You will have noticed that Wells got progressively worse over the last couple of weeks so took time out to get treatment. It made not difference to the results if he had ridden in pain and scored no points or not. Douglas isn't a track specialist he only got 5 points on his last visit with his team. I agree if he doesn't ride monday it looks fishy but he got a max last night so why wouldn't we want him to ride.

Poole had the perfect chance to get rid of Wells before the deadline cut off which would have been the correct thing to do.

I fail to see how some Poole fans think its perfectly ok for Wells to suddenly decide to be able to drop his PL commitments but be fine for his CL ones.

If he is fit for one league he is fit for both.

Maybe he is riding with an injury, that’s no excuse however. Other riders are currently riding injured and will get rest and or surgery once the season has finished.

No rider can pick and choose which meetings to ride in, especially when they have contracts and commitments to 2 clubs in the UK.

Id suggest that it would suit Poole to be able to use guests because it would strengthen them somewhat however the fact that it stinks seems lost on some.

If Wells is fit to score well on Friday he will be fine to ride for Poole next week, no excuses.

Not if he doesn’t want to. Now it was only a strong rumour on Thursday tat he had told the Poole promotion he had quit. If he turns up on Monday I expect all those who have accused the Poole promotion of skullduggery to come on here and apologise.

If Wells does not ride, which guests in particular would you have in mind on a horses for courses basis to make Poole stronger. His current average is 4.39

If he has quit, was it his decision or Frauds with a little help in making the decision with a brown envelope.

It should be in the rules that only an mdl rider only for any rider quitting or injured after transfer cut off date.

I just hope all the lumps and bumps and ruts on the Poole track do not cause him to react again

It will be a long time before Shovlar apologises  for the rumour he started.

If i had put everything i have heard over the years on here the forum would have been in meltdown. Some times you just have to keep stum,on this occasion Steve couldn't.

I most certainly didn’t start the rumour. Two separate people told me on Thursday night, one of them certainly “in the know”.
