I can't see us winning even if Wells and THJ both replaced by guests, might be closer but Wolves have by miles the best reserves and both going frighteningly well at the moment and that is why they will win the title. That is why we need to come top.

I think we will do ok! It’s going to be tough, Swindon & Wolves are coming into great form at the right time, but if we all click on the night anything is possible.

This year has been interesting, with Matt’s interests elsewhere and Danny’s maiden year I think he has taken his eye off the ball when it comes to riders available.

I know for a fact that our riders have approached Matt with recommendations for possible replacements for Ritchie.

Some we’re blocked because of Poland and others not considered.

Wells isn’t a rider Poole would normally go for, money comes into play I know but don’t think THJ comes cheap even though he was riding at Berwick too!! For me he was a risk and at present a risk that isn’t paying off, he simply isn’t the rider he was.

I think we have been spoilt over the years with riders, and when the eye is taken off the prize at times it shows up much more!

Money or lack of it due to less sponsors (for a variety of reasons)is the main cause. We didn't get THJ until he'd already committed to Berwick even though he's a Poole asset.

It makes a change to go into the playoffs rated 3rd out of the 4 teams. I think the only way we can make the final is to finish top. If we meet Swindon or Wolves in the semi final our season is likely to end there. We can’t compete with Wolves strength at reserve. Both ride like heat leaders around Wimborne Road. They would probably win both legs.

Why would Poole have replacements for Wells & THJ when Wells completed 4 ride max on Friday (even tho he needed a week off) & THJ rode yesterday?!

And a poorer crowd

And what happens if they lose to Poole ..no bumper play off final crowd ...Semi final crowds have never been that great anyhow so if somehow  they come top picking Poole is madness

What's his score got to do with anything? Plenty said we are cheating cos he wasn't gonna ride anymore, but he is going to ride. So everyone should apologise for these ridiculous accusations! Simply outrageous. Strangely they have gone quiet now, wonder why?

Lets get this straight

Shovlar came on here and told anyone who wanted to listen that Wells will stand down

You roped in better riders (horses for courses) away at Lynn that was abandoned and then home to Lynn

Forget about this Monday..........if Wells doesnt ride in the play off matches then its blatant cheating

I cant believe that Poole speedway has now come to the point where they would rather rake in money once then have a chance of doing it twice.....

Poole pick Swindon in the semi finals....and lose........one home meeting with a bumper crowd

Poole do what they should do and pick Ipswich............one home meeting and unless they choke then they will have a final home leg as well

Are Poole fans that fickle that if they beat Ipswich that if its Wolves in the final that they wont go? Surely a bumper crowd in the final doesnt matter who the opposition is?

If whoever finishes top doesnt pick Ipswich then the sport has died as a competition and sadly is only about making money

Poole have won twice at Ipswich..Swindon won easily at ours once and battered us at their place..............why would either not pick Ipswich!

So Poole who were favourites before a wheel was turned....still favourites in July........and will probably end up top......are the 3rd best side in the play offs lol...nice spin

Just goes to show how badly the Poole management or promotion have been this season.......their eyes must have been off the boil completely

Ok NBJ is now injured but to replace him with Wells..........

R/R for Worrall has worked fine all season although i understand the need to have 7 riders

When Poole finally decide they need 7 riders they bring in a total journeyman in THJ and then see their free scoring reserve move to number 2 thus preventing im from having a full quota of rides.

If the Poole promotion wanted 7 riders why not replace Worrall much sooner

And then why they do they muck the team up so badly that they are no longer considered favourites.................

Poole usually are the first ones to make correct changes ..this season the have it badly badly wrong and have in all liklihood stopped Poole from winning the league

And now because they might take on Swindon on the semis they are throwing in the towel ..............

Who is 'throwing in the towel' exactly?  Just for your info, at the time NBJ was replaced he was ill - doubled up in stomach pain in the pits in actual fact - and after an initial check in hospital thought he would have to have an operation!  However when he flew back to Denmark his specialist there said it wasn't needed and he just needed rest. By this time Wells had become available, BV had signed Aarnio who promptly got injured and NBJ was declared fit to ride again - but not for too long as we all know.

Not quite sure what other rider options were realistically available to replace either NBJ or Worrall on their respective averages, but if you wanna carry on stirring your particular type of $#!t then be happy with your opinions.

BTW Poole may have been favourites at various times of this season (because we are always there or thereabouts) but current form clearly makes Poole the 3rd favourites behind Robins and Wolves.

My opinion is that once Poole lost Worrall they were a much better side then as was proved by the run of form they went on.

My thoughts were that they didnt need to sign anyone

My opinion is that they still shouldnt have unless they could find the right rider which they clearly havent

In the play offs i would say Poole will be better with R/R at 2 and have Covatti at 6 where he could impact a meeting if needed by having 7 rides.......now if one of the 1-5 are having an off night who do Poole have that could come in and do better from reserve........Josh form has slipped a bit so would you be happier having Covatti in to replace him or rely on THJ or Wells?

I agree that r/r is risky in play offs in case you get an injury.............but the Poole team is now weaker than it was a month ago.....if Poole felt like they could replace Worrall then they should have done it much much sooner

And by throwing in the towel i mean they are if they choose Swindon.............surely the aim is to be champions and at least make the final not worry about a bumper gate in the semi final

And it does show that they have got things wrong because they are the 3rd best side in the play offs........they were favourites at the start and most of the season..why are they no longer favourites?.....because they have made poor team changes...while Swindon and Wolves have got it right.

You say your not sure what other options were available............then dont change it just to get 7 riders..........Poole with r/r at 2 were stronger than they are now

Don't really matter who is supposed favourites or whatever,, it matters what happens on the race nights, and no one knows who will crash or break down or get dodgy ref decisions go their way or not.

I also think Ipswich could do Poole over 2 legs
