Lefty 1,257 Posted October 20, 2019 Didn't hear any announcement other than re-admission tickets valid next season. With the Spoons running "The Golden 'Ommer" tomorrow week it leaves no available dates.

Gotta feel for the track staff who worked hard all day for the rain to ruin it. Looking at the pictures this morning corners were still under water! 2 heats raced 4 reruns says it all. Lefty 1,257 Posted October 20, 2019 Terrace Humour: "If the TV cameras had been here, they would have carried on" "Then we would've lost; like against Swindon and we would be out of the Cup!"
bigcatdiary 3,164 Posted October 20, 2019 This original match was rained off initially on the 8th April, early season competitions that result in rain offs etc should be run on the next date that team returns for a league fixture A/B, league fixtures left in limbo and with the play off date rapidly approaching soon get arranged with a little more effort and urgency especially if that team are desperate to make the play offs. Thus instances like this and Poole v Lynn would be avoided.
scoobydoo 2,253 Posted October 20, 2019 If any Peterborough supporters travelled wouldn't they have been entitled to full refunds as there ticket could be worthless if they cant or dont wish to return next season

A £10 meeting with another 30+ races was on paper a brilliant deal. Rain wasn’t expected and anyone who was there would know there was no way they could continue on it. It had become a skating rink really quickly. The fact the meeting was being run this late is the only issue, no point in even trying to rearrange a nothing meeting this season. Tickets honoured next season, no biggie to me.

How do you work out that you will get 30 heats? You will get the 15 for that match meaning £28 (assuming no season on season increase) for 17 heats - 2 of which (at least) will have been pointless

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv 10,695 Posted October 20, 2019 Apologies Steve - didn't realise it was a tenner today
