Is it just me, or did Ged's talk on the microphone near the end sound like a farewell message ?

Thought the same at the time. Ged is an emotional guy & hopefully nothing more than disappointment with how an excellent season has fallen apart right when it mattered the most.

And wasn’t Worrall good, 6+1

It will be interesting to see what he does here next week

It's amazing all you pussycats going on about poor choice of guest etc ,take a look closer to home  who signed BWD knowing it was likely he would miss the business end of the season due to surgery ,Grondal has been poor for a couple of months now, MPT has got all his thoughts on this weeks play off final with Kings Lynn ,Oysterguard is so hit and miss nowadays you don't know which one will turn up . But the ace in the pack Simon Lambert has been absolutely Top Drawer at the back end of the season .

Be thankful you have speedway to watch in October as many other speedway fans don't

And all things that we couldn't do anything about. Everyone knows that Lambert scores points at 6 or 7 so where's the surprise there. The first part is tosh, so quite appropriate, but based on that the last sentence makes little sense.

Guests are hit and miss at any time, we know that. Always have been and always will be, especially at this level. Just trying to earn some money as opposed to riding for your team with your team mates must be a different kettle of fish.

Panthers fans talking as if it's all over . Remember last year's top league final between Wolves and Swindon to see what can happen .

At the moment though it's Panthers select with question marks. Nobody's fault, although somewhat compounded by the BWD gamble that has gone a bit pear shaped when it mattered. If you'd been watching Panthers over the last few meetings you'd see that their concerns are well founded.

It will also be interesting as to who Panthers use as at NO 1 , should they go for Jorgensen who let Panthers down after agreeing to guest or did he have his mind changed for him , strange in a time when many riders are not getting enough bookings when a chance comes along they snap it up only then coming back and saying I cant race for you on Sunday because my main team is riding on Monday. Personally I would not use him and would much prefer a rider with a better attitude even if the rider is of a lower standard.

Good result for Lakeside tonight but it won’t help their crowd next Sunday as I doubt as many Panthers fans will go now, but as a Stilton says it’s a long winter although as good as we are at Rye it’s a big ask.

There is another factor. Peterborough wont be able to call upon James Sarjeant for this match.

I wouldn't wish him on any team let alone Panthers, one thing you're guaranteed with Mick Horton he know's how to close clubs down

Many a true word spoken in jest.

Then he  would be wasting his time and money they're wouldn't be many fans and helpers should that happen even if he was Panthers last hope of surviving . Fans remember what he did for the club in the past and would rather see the club die     gracefully
