Poole Vs Someset Play off semi Final 2nd Leg 01/10/18

Recommended Posts

Gutted. The 4 Rebels were magnificent tonight and the IRR cost us dearly the Pirates got 6+1 for Kurtz 3 rides and the Rebels got 4 from 4 got for Holder.

I can’t help think if we had a full 1-7 we would have walked it

Congrats to Poole and a great ride by bomber

Congrats to Poole got to feel for Somerset only having 5 riders, that cost them in the end.

That was worth staying up for. Chris Harris - simply a brilliant ride, and yes Gary May put a brave face on it, just about as unlucky as you can get.

All the better for not keep swapping meetings. That would have been far less dramatic if it had to be shared with unimportant heats from Lynn.

Lawson rode well and scored his points.

Lawson was dire. One decent ride in two play off meetings. Howarth was worse.

Doyle blew it for Rebels, heat 1 he didn’t team ride for a 5-1 with Howarth, he got excluded in his third ride and was going through the motions in heat 15.

I have to say, watch Speedway at King's Lynn or at Poole??

Answer:

Racing at Poole wins hands down. Offers way more racing lines even with the humps.

Congratulations to the Pirates, certainly puts you in the driving seat for the title. King's Lynn will not get within 20 points at Wimborne Road.

Somerset ran out of riders, but well done to the Pirates.. As much as I wanted them to loose. Pleased for Bomber more than anything. That was a ride and a half.

Poole big favourites for me.

Musielak will guest for Kurtz.

No matter who you support, no matter who you dislike in speedway, you just have to take your hat off to Chris Harris for that ride. Once again he produces something magical to create yet another wonderful play off memory.

Credit to the Rebels too for going so close under difficult circumstances.

Just watched the race again.

Why didn't Doyle close the door on Harris? Nicki Pedersen wouldn't have let Harris passed.

This is a play-off semi-final, show some desire and desperation.
