Could be wrong but weren't they planning to re-sign him only to be hugely gazumped by Lakeside who promised Nick a shedload of money - most of which he was never paid. Maybe Berwick's problem is that they pay up. Would it be better to offer the moon and then deliver a bit of scorched earth?

I am perplexed as to where Nick Morris's big demands came from? A 6 point season for Swindon in 2016 and two 8.3ish season's with Somerset and Glasgow respectively?

Clearly the club were not all that blown away with Morris because they went with Bridger in the first instance. The former kept himself on a nice tidy average for Lakeside though so fair play to him.

Fast forward to the future Morris can't be averaging anymore than 5 for Wolverhampton at the moment. Maybe now would be an opportunity to bring Morris in, surely he can't be as demanding currently?

Maybe the riders taking a pay cut may be tied in to a “non drop” policy. Just a theory.

Doubt Morris would take less than what he was on when he last rode here.

Regarding Morris I imagine Lakeside suited him in so many ways, one being close to Stansted for flights overseas at a weekend
