The most sensible solution is for ALL supporters to boycott BOTH meetings unless BOTH promoters agree to a solution that is in the interest of UK Speedway as a whole. The only language they will understand is one that hurts their pockets and, not ours!!!!

Because they made the playoffs - so only Swindon, Wolves and Leicester riders can be used (or Championship)

They can be used as they are no longer in the playoffs. The rule was for teams who are actively in the playoffs. So riders from BV and Somerset should now be available.

I don't know why anybody cares about this play-off nonsense anyway. The last real league champions were Oxford 17 years ago.

Surely those Poole fans playing the morality card aren’t typing with a straight face?

Yes it’s bloody ridiculous but it is so because the rule book doesn’t prevent it. Lynn can’t be blamed for going down this road as they are in a desperate situation, and yes Poole would have done exactly the same whatever the hot air is coming out of Dorset.

Couldn't agree with you more. And if Ford thought it would help Poole more to win the P/Offs he would most certainly do it.He may have even tried even if it wasn't within the rules:rolleyes:.

So you think its ok? You are on your own in this one.

I didn’t say that - I said Morris for KL and Ellis for Poole for both legs.  That’s the problem with having only 7 teams in the league and it is unfair for Poole to get the best pick because their rider was injured first (IMHO)

So rule 18.2.4 is just for the ko cup? Fans on Twitter and Facebook seem to think it applies to the playoffs as well..?

Matt Ford is unable to appeal this is not covered in the rulebook. So basically the final has officially become a complete and utter farce.

They are saying that rule comes from the rulebook for the league, though they might be clutching at straws. I don't know!

Why don’t Poole just use Jack Smith over both legs.

Why don't you get lost! What part of Poole have already booked their guests do you not get? Both should change or just Lynn.
