Kings Lynn 2019

We won’t win at Wolves (or Poole) while Buster has a hole in his bottom. Unlike last year we are nowhere near good enough on the road this season.

When you don't know the points limit?

When you don't know the league structure?

When you don't know if there will be a pay 'policy' to drive down costs - might be fewer teams with riders chasing places which would drive down pay

Do you really believe all those things haven't already been thoroughly discussed at BSPA meetings prior to the 'rubber-stamping' at the AGM?

You'll be having us believe the BSPA has a plan --- yet another plan -- to fix the sport's problems; like fast track reserves, fixed race nights all of which have been pretty disastrous.

So who would we have back of the guys who have ridden this year?

Robert - absolutely, has been a bit disappointing this year but there is scope to increase his average by quite a bit if he wants to ride in the UK.

Craig - yes if the points limit allows but think it would be tough to fit he and Robert both in.

Erik - big fat yes, no brainer.

Tomas - not for me, great at home but pretty awful away unfortunately.

MPT - yes, particularly if at reserve.

Lewis - only if as a number seven. Hasn’t achieved what I thought he would this year unfortunately, desperately want him to do well as a local lad but despite a great season in the second division his away form for us hasn’t been great.

Niklas - no, just hasn’t worked out.

Simon - handy as a guest at home but that is all for me.

Ty - not for me, after a great 2018 he was disappointing this year.

Kasper - there is obviously a cracking young rider in there going by his Redcar scores but he just can’t ride Lynn’s grippy surface so unless that changes there is little point unfortunately.

Agree with most of this. Think Lewis started slow, unsurprising after his injuries last season, but has been making good progress lately, so I'd have him in.

Regarding fixed race nights, almost worked as a lot less clashes, the tweak it needs is to split matches over Mon and Thurs, 2 each night at most to leave options for suitable guests for injuries

Would be pretty impossible to fit MPT in at reserve on a 6.3 average.

As for Cook, not sure anyone will want him next year. He's more trouble than he's worth

Changes are much needed if Buster is serious about Lynn.

Lynn have far to many home "Track specialists" If that's the right word ;)

Heres the top 6.

                        Lambo   H 8.27   A  7.12

                       Cook      H  8.17   A 7.24

                       Riss       H  8.00   A 5.30

                       TJ          H 7.71   A 3.78

                      MPT     H 7.44   A 5.28

                      Kerr     H 7.09    A 4.20

                Home      46.63      Away    32.00

Who is the number 7... You have Simon H  4.47    A 1.38 …. Nick  H 2.91  A   not rode yet.

As you can see the engine room are all good at the AFA. With only just over 1 point between the highest, Lambo and the 6th Kerr. That's strong.

But look at the away, and there is the main reason the Stars have the worst away record in the league this season and sit 6th.

Broc Nichol has to be one for next year.  Josh Pickering another. Riss, Lambert and MPT to return

After reading Dale Allits piece in the Speedway Star , it seems Craig is not a well man. Get well soon Cookie we need you in the Stars team.

The real problem seems to be that Craig should not be piloting a powerful motorcycle in close proximity to three other riders, while he is so unwell. Referees, track doctors / medics, team managers should step in much, much sooner rather than sending a rider in such a state out to race ( or allowing them to ride again ). Naturally ,Craig needs lots of help with his mental health issues before he is allowed to ride again. If he is.

That won't happen he'll be riding at Glasgow tonight being the hero as usual ....he brings it all on himself being an arrogant ar@e , trying to act big and tough, he's not professional enough to make it abroad or in the GP's . Tantrums at tracks then cites he's not well , he should have been fined for his performance on Sunday at the CLRC just couldn't be arsed , he wasn't ill, once he knew he couldn't ride the track that was it game over  :nono:

Anytime :t: not a Doctor just not a fool , you really believe the way he throws himself about is ok ? He'll be riding tonight redeeming himself knocking in his usual 15 points and all will be well
