But that's a nonsense. You can't just start a new season with new rules with a out dated previous seasons assessed average. That's just bonkers.

The averages assessed for both Premiership and Championship must be the same. Multiply or divide the conversion.

2019 is a new season and rider's on assessed averages then revert to the current season.

Kasper should be 4.00 Premiership and 6.00 Championship.

Taking Sheffield's average over the limit by 0.42.

No, because he rode for Sheffield in 2018, on an average of 5.20.  That will remain the same.  That's how it works.

Would Bartosz Zmarzlik ride in the Premiership on his average he rode for Birmingham on ? ;)

If he had done more than 2 meetings maybe!

Depends who he signed for.

Kasper rode in the CL on a converted PL average 4 x 1.3 = 5.20.

This year it’s 4 x 1.5 = 6

Couldn’t be any clearer.

Would be better if it's 5.2 divided by 1.5 =3.466 :P:D

Seeing as he averaged 2.55 for Lynn in 2018, I think 3.46 is plenty ;)

Has to be another Lynn rider who will up his average along with Lambert.  NKI is another who will add points to his average as will Riss.

With Kasper on a 4, we might be giving away points there, although i'm sure he will add to last seasons 2.55 with doubling up (if allowed ?) Robert will probably add half a point. Still don't know if NKI is coming back. I suspect not. If that's the case the Stars will struggle if he is not replaced like for like.

here is my grey area with kasper. He has rode the right number of meetings if you add them together but in different leagues. This is unique really

his average should be, Lynn meetings 2.55 joined in with his Sheffield meetings average converted to pl. If that works out as under 3 then he can't ride pl. if it's over he can. His average has to be 4 minimum regardless.

How many matches did Andersen ride for Sheffield last year as the GSA doesn’t list this detail, perhaps the MC have assessed his GSA on what he actually rode.

Five in the league and two in the cup.

Well Ford wouldn't want him on a -1.45 average, that's for sure :P

Second signing confirmed by @KLSpeedway

Does this mean that Kasper is going to be a second string? They must be going pretty top heavy then... But who?

Averages cause more discussions,  more arguments, more interpretation ( more rule breaking) than any other part of this sport.   The sooner the riders are graded  the better..

Gradings would be far far worse
