Steve Shovlar 10,439 Posted October 9, 2018 So after last night Pirates take a 16 point lead into the second leg at Kings Lynn. Is it enough? You can be sure that Kings Lynn will be fired up and want to hit us hard from heat 1. The Pirates will be aware of this and will not want any last places. Thoughts? Bagpuss 10,765 Posted October 9, 2018 If MPT rides and we have luck on our side this time then it’s doable but the odds are stacked against us. Need to make a good start and we need a lot more than eleven points from the three middle order men.

Pirates Of Poole 761 Posted October 9, 2018 Depends if MPT is fit to ride with his wrist injury & how Buster preps the track.

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv 10,695 Posted October 9, 2018 If it looks slick it will still be grippy If it looks grippy be prepared to hold on tight!!
Bagpuss 10,765 Posted October 9, 2018 I’m sure it will be prepared as it has been all season which our riders like. Making it different to catch Poole out could also catch our own riders out so just maintain the status quo and hope for a bit of luck which we are going to need.

Tigerforever 86 Posted October 9, 2018 Shame for Palm Toft, his scoring power at reserve around Kings Lynn has been sensational of late.
