The Stars finished top of the league with 53 points six ahead of the next team which l believe was Somerset. That makes them top of th3 league and on a full compliment of league meetings they are top of the pile.

All teams know the champions are decided over 2 matches, get over it, Poole are champions

Thought the answer could only be yes or no.

Everybody knows who won it... Question is are they the poorest team ever to do so?

Agree there are no Turbo Twins anymore but the top riders have abandoned GB.

Poole beat the best of the rest.

Why not accept that we have what we have.

This is the best team in history to win the league , no other team in history had to work under this year's rules.

Tomorrow’s news will show Poole as champion so  will the record books.

This season is now over and rather than moan or complain or gloat we should hope that the powers that be give the fans a better product next year.

With leagues in Poland ,Sweden ,Denmark attracting the star names we need to do something combine the top 2 leagues north and south possibly 6 man teams play offs all have to be considered .

comiserations to Kings Lynn on the night with a full team different story in Lambert you have the best British youngster and British speedway needs to keep the likes of him and Dan Bewley on these shores however the money on offer may well be a major factor

It is what it is. The standard is so low now, top flight racing in this country doesent exist anymore. This years championship level will probably be next seasons top league.

I would have said whoever won the league this year would just have been the best of a bad bunch, that is just down to the watering down of the product season after season. Next season really is make or break for the sport in this country.

What i find ridicules is that both leagues seem to be at the same level.

Why then do we have two leagues, with nearly all the same riders bar a few.

Surly now is the time to make one big league. At least it will stop the ridiculous sight of riders riding for two teams. Maybe then the sport will start to recover a little.

Which is what was said last year...

Fans don't seem to have any leverage to make a difference. How do we get the sports management to want to 'forward' the product rather than themselves? Just keep chipping away I imagine.

The most disappointing thing Arthur is I think hardly anyone is jealous..

If your team win a national competition you should be delighted...

If your team fail to win a national competition you should be disappointed...

Sadly winning a national speedway competition in Britain brings very little positive or negative reaction as deep down us fans know it's just far too contrived and Mickey Mouse ran to be taken seriously...

'Everyone is apathetic, get over it, Poole Pirates the 2018 Premier League Champions' may have been a more accurate comment...
