If he did then its the best Boro performance of the night :D

The two actual Panthers riders have 8 between them out of the 14  its the rubbish they borrowed for the night letting them down

Reading updates on Twitter, given the circumstances with the lighting, this could be a new low for speedway.

Agree about the guests being a big let down - as is often the case.  But Grondal & Lambert have scored 8 from a possible 23 points from their rides.  So even they haven't been doing all that well.

I think it is. It’s painful being here. It’s starting to get cold now

The guest system is a big letdown for the sport...........and it gets even lower when they are not a success,,,

Wish I was still there, had my train to catch. Currently stranded in Stevenage.

If there's a restaging, we need to book some better guests. Tonight was pitiful.

Dont bother to restage - just kick both teams out and award the title to Worky

Yep, but those two could well perform better if/when this meeting gets re-staged ;)    And it'd be a whole different story with better (track specialist) guests.  Garritty would be ideal; apparently he was originally pencilled in for today.  Maybe the rules will get changed/twisted again, but this time in Panthers' favour.

Surely a better and fairer idea is to simply award the trophy to whichever team actually finished TOP OF THE THE LEAGUE.

Or, given the fact that it was Lakeside's responsibility that this meeting got called off, award it to Panthers and let's lock horns with Worky next weekend.  Surely it's the 'grand final' everybody really wanted.  ;)
