Heat 11 brutal.     Zmartzik could have gone done twice but didn't take the pro dive.

Just enough grip on this track..

Looks like a few 'spinning up' too depending on which part of the track they hit, so those behind never feel out of the race...

Superb sport when done well isn't it?

Scotts comments should resonate around British Speedway..

What the track 'used to be like' was narrow and passing at a premium..

Give Speedway riders a track with wide entrances and exits to wide bends, and just enough dirt to pass but still be smooth and safe, and you have great racing..

We seem to pride ourself in technical, difficult tracks..

Which invariably deliver pretty poor racing..

Our tracks by and large are a bit like the roads in our towns and citys, they haven't changed for years and they no longer fit for purpose of modern day situations.

Breath taking racing so far.

great to see Woffy back but he clearly isn’t race fit. No sweat champ, you can get back the title next year.

Madsen looks like he is on 550cc.

Agreed. It's crying out for Havvy to be added to the studio :D

or David Norris

Both no good. Would struggle to understand a word Havvy says. Norris not the right bloke either as he hasn’t been involved in the sport for years.

Not sure I agree with that...  As a Dons fan, I was quite happy with small tracks, and enjoyed the racing at many of them.  Trouble is, nearly all of the big pacy tracks (which would be more suited to modern machinery) were closed down.   So, that  IS a big change. We at least had variety then, but think of it, Hyde Rd, Custom House, The Shay, County Ground etc, and even ones like Earle Street and Kingsmead...

I would love to have seen modern bikes on some of those.
