I will be very disapointed if the Brummies dont move up.

What makes you think they could make it pay when previously they couldn’t

Without a doubt, it will be watered down. Weaken the product and increase the admission price. A recipe for disaster.

I am not sure about that...

Just because the same business plan has been used for the past fifteen years or so and failed, doesn't mean it won't be a roaring success this time...!

Maybe one day, British Speedway will be revered the World over as being one of a very select group who have proved Einstein wrong...

At the risk of losing your club, is it worth the gamble.

With the money Guy has spent on Plant this month he could probably buy British speedway....... Now there a though!

Don't think that he nor anyone else with good business sense ( and the resources ) would buy a club at this point in time. It would be an asset of diminishing value ( unless you owned the stadium and land and could develop it for housing at a later date ). There seems very little real profit in currently owning and running a speedway club as the public has voted with its feet. A Thumbs Down from your likely customers is a very poor incentive to buy into the Uk speedway business.

In the Redcar report in last week's Speedway Star it said the AGM was 'in Chepstow in early November'!!

So I would guess 9th-11th November?

....or maybe the weekend after ie 16th-18th November now that Wolves have arranged their 'talk-in' for Monday 19th!?

I wonder if Tai will be invited along for his input after the success of the GB Speedway team after they did what he'd wanted them to do for years?

No-one who want to change anything in UK speedway will be invited to the AGM, you can sure of that. It seems to be moving towards "more of the same" for 2019. That will be sure to pull in the missings thousands if the marketing remains the same as it was in 2018.

No consensus from the promoters about how to move forward.

Mediocre riders already putting out quotes about wanting to ride for more than one team to enable them to be full-time riders, performing in front of crowds of 500-700 people.

Fans not listened to.

No one in charge.

Complete joke of a sport at the moment.

But paying fans still keep going, as long as they do nothing will change.

The AGM with throw up the usual minor changes, some rules will be amended to stop certain promoters, others will be dropped to help the old boys club.

Then on to March, as long as people pay, they got it right again.
