But paying fans still keep going, as long as they do nothing will change.

The AGM with throw up the usual minor changes, some rules will be amended to stop certain promoters, others will be dropped to help the old boys club.

Then on to March, as long as people pay, they got it right again.

Spot on! Until the dwindling crowd levels do finally make it unsustainable and UK speedway is extinguished in the form we have known it until now. Onwards & Downwards seems the BSPA motto.

and last nights farce of four guests riding in the cup final at Kings Lynn. So do the winning guests get a medal?

Of course it's not ideal but what are they supposed to do with half a team out injured? Would be more of a farce if Somerset turned up with just Doyle, Lawson and Covatti

A lot of talk on Twitter about not having a points limit. If they did that would that mean we would have to use squads? If not how would it even work??

It would mean the teams with the most money would win the league, while rest would go out of business trying to keep up the them

Poole to win 2019, if it happens, who's the bookies favourite to go bankrupt first

Either it's got be rain things in merge the top two leagues and rebuild the sport into something that in 5 years is far healthier or have 6 or 8 team top league no points limit coupled with a major sponsor ship package to cover the costs. The first option would be a slow rebuild with out dramatic changes. The second requires dramatic changes re branding and a major re launch in the hope that the crowds will massively increase.

Either way it's got to be a 3 to 5 year plan.

Before the agm the sport needs to head down to the Houses of Parliament and have it’s anual pat on the back ceromony, really only the Isle of Wight should get any sort of medal/ recognition for its seasons work but I’m sure there is some self congratulations to be handed out somewhere, after all it’s takes some sort of special to make your own rules and then not be able to stick to them

Maybe the cup final should be played a little earlier in the season then. That way there could be a little leeway for the meeting if either team had too many injuries.

Not much creditability is there, when The No1 at Poole lifts the Premiership play off trophy as a Pirate. He then rides in the Championship semi-final with Glasgow. Then a couple of days later he is riding for Somerset in The Premiership cup final.

APPARTENTLY there will be no visit to the House of Commons this year.

So your solution to covering injuries is?

It is now looking like the rumours of four clubs moving up to the Premiership was a load of pie in the sky, with the recent posts that Ipswich & Sheffield are not interested.

Surely the Premiership cannot contemplate running with just 6 teams ( rumours again that Leicester are dropping down).

Perhaps Belle Vue should drop down, as would it be more attractive to race against fellow northern teams, this is only a thought, as I believe the Manchester Council would not agree to it, as they funded the stadium.

They may start with just six teams but will they finish with six?

this once again is the problem with the "i'm alright Jack" attitude in speedway
