Wonder who the National League clubs moving up are.

Hopefully the Brummies have moved up, the other club im not sure about. Can only think it could be Eastbourne or Mildenhall, Kent ruled it out before the AGM

Looks like a change of race night for Sheffield, hopefully find that out very soon.

Can't say i am trilled by this AGM but then never expected to be, radical was required and again we got a reshuffle.

Some things do look decent but is it just for show.

Fixed race nights just won't work, they will work better next year with Premiership having Monday & Thursday but at what cost to clubs, Belle Vue will have wanted to race Fridays again, ideally Sheffield will have wanted to stay on Thursday but would not risk going into Premiership and going bankrupt, slightly fearful as to what will happen next year.

Leicester and Sheffield in the same league. Same promoters/owners?

New ‘Premiership Supporters Cup’ with 1 race ‘fans nominated’ via social media – Full details to follow but 1st event provisionally scheduled for 8th April

A gimmicky, nonsense idea, open to so much abuse. What planet are the people who dream this up on  ?

This is not the engagement that fans want/need imo

Berwick named at Championship level, hopefully a good sign.

38 point limit... Jesus.. Shocking

Devaluing a product is wrong.. Always has been

Massive race now to sign  crap 4 and 5point riders.. Tobias Busch has just become more valuable than Ricky Wells

That's me just about done with speedway sadly

Presume that the plan is no longer to narrow the gap between the leagues to include promotion and relegation..?

42.5 at 1.5 conversion rate is 63.75 equivalent at Championship level...

Against a 38 point Championship top level..

And the rate is set to go higher.

Or am I reading it wrong?

To be fair, clear demarcation between the leagues should be encouraged to ensure we have some kind of aspirational journey for teams and riders...

" The British Premiership, Championship and National Development Leagues have entertained a growing and more diverse audience by consistently delivering speedway of the highest quality. "

The plan to gradually reduce doubling-up/down is fair enough because I don't think you can just bin it completely straight away but is the plan likely to survive it's 5 years? The Premiership using Thursday's is the sensible option just a year too late.

A fan nominated race via social media just seems like a poor attempt at trying to look modern, it's hardly going to keep kids entertained during races etc. And naming a competition the 'Premiership Supporters Cup' is awful and embarassing, that needs changing right now before the season starts.

Overall it mostly seems more of the same and disappointing.
