If Zagar is 8.00 (no Eliteserin ride as yet) what is left points limit wise if Aces sign Cook, Bewley & Fricke?

Zagar 8.00

Fricke 8.24

Cook 7.64

Bewley 7.09

30.97 used so just 11.53 left for three riders and all must have achieved a three point average so not much as that four

Belle Vue will have to go with a weaker team in 2019, despite not winning anything in 2018, as we were one of the highest combined averages team.

For 2019 how about,

Fricke

Cook

Bjerre

Bewley

Auty

Berge

Etheridge

With the 2.5 reduction for NL riders that might just fit in the 42.5 limit.

The 2.5 reduction is for all British riders

I think you will find it is for all riders that have been in the NL, nothing to do with nationality, but as usual the lack of statement details is not helpful.

Too many details leaves a lack of wiggle room later in the season when someone wants to pull a fast one!

That is the rule book as written by whoever thinks they can get away with it. Matt is just very good at reading between the lines!

It seems yes as written in bspa statement, no doubt the managers know the detailed wording, if they have made it up yet.

I agree with your statements A Orlov, but please do not mention anything to do with a certain Southern club on this thread as we all know what happens, the thread will be taken over by their  posters.

So can we sign 7 British riders who all rode in NL, meaning we will have a team 17.5% higher than the 42 50.

That's the way to go surely

Actually it would still only be 2.5% over

That's right, you could build to 43.56. Hardly worth the trouble, you're better off signing riders likely to increase their average.
