Doyle's av speaks for itself imho. Lambo seemed to have matured this season, and reached another level. His team riding was great, he finished 2nd in the averages, only just below Doyle, his interviews seem like he is maturing nicely too. I know i'm a Lynn fan but for me it was Lambo.. 2
Aces51 2,778 Posted November 11, 2018 DanBewley was the most improved rider and his progress had been nothing short of exceptional but Robert Lambert was the rider of the year because of his step up to be an outstanding number 1 andthe best British rider in the averages.

Pirates Of Poole 761 Posted November 12, 2018 (edited) Rider of the year-Robert Lambert - outstanding this year from the young British Star. Most impressive team-Kings Lynn, unlucky in the final parts of the season with injury’s that easily cost them the league title. Team rider of the season - Robert Lambert - his team riding skills reminds me of a certain Mr Ward! One to watch-Dan Bewley - Fantastic future ahead for this young British Star. Bulldog award (Best British rider)-Robert Lambert - Easy Decison! Meeting of the season- Belle Vue v Somerset - stunning meeting Surprise of the season-Kings Lynn - from 2017 to 2018 what a turn around! Underperformers (Team)-Swindon - just collapsed mid-season after a very good start. Unluckiest rider-Dan Brewley Newcomer of the season-Freddie Jakobsen - going to be a star if he continues his form. Would love to see Lambert as a Pirate Confirmed Major Awards Premiership Champions - Poole Pirates KOC Champions - Somerset Rebel’s Edited November 12, 2018 by Pirates Of Poole

Somerset already had 6 riders then lost their top rider leaving them down to 5 and having to run with 1 rider in one race Kurtz replacements got 7 and Holders 4. yet Poole scrapped through Belle Vue got decimated. Kings Lynn lost their second best rider and a free scoring reserve, Poole then should have not used Morris simple Yes the record books show Poole won..............still struggling to find Pooles injuries you mention.......but they wouldnt if Somerset or Kings Lynn had fit teams.................or if the sports top brass did the right thing and stopped Morris riding Edited November 12, 2018 by Gavan

Bottom of the league in July and end up as champions. No mean feat that, but im sure you will find an excuse to knock it..
