Won't work when the longtrack events are still on the sundays. I know FIM want to stage them on the saturdays, but I've seen request from KNMV to stage the Roden round on sunday 22.09. Same day as the Polish playoffs.

I am reliably informed that there will be a slight tweaking to the LT Series race format to limit the number of times riders are in the heats following a track grade.

Rider drawn at No.1 currently goes out after each track grade, which is, more often than not, a disadvantage, particularly on a wet surface.

This sounds good. As in as good when they changed to the 15 rider format to get back to basics as in everyone races against each other once. Which did not happen.

IMO, dont waste time thinking or doing rubbish all towards this. Instead Bouin and co should spend that time to market the discipline and/or trying to find sponsors for the series.

FIM should return to the old and trusted format with 18 riders, six per race, and have nine heats, two semis, and one final race at each of the LT World Championship rounds.

Mellgren retired so Fienhage jumps in as permanent rider. Meijerink joins the reserves.
