As you say definitely savings to be made from your list,  previous team manager ? I thought he didn’t do this season unless Cami Brown was on full time wages?

Riders will contact Glasgow if they pay better. It is their career after all. Heard their £s per point is one of the best but what attracts riders is the scale of signing on fees. Now apparently staggered payments over the season.

As mentioned by previous posters Tiggers can do what they want as can other teams BUT riders now quote Glasgow figures to other Clubs who can ill afford their demands.

Well thats all pretty simple then, tell them all to go and ride for Glasgow. There will be a canny queue tho, cos there's only seven jobs.

Good point but other clubs dont need to meet those riders demands. If a rider is trying to hold them to ransom them they are better choosing someone else. John Campbell wouldn't tolerate it and neither would any of the other old school. No rider is worth jeopordising the club for.

One thing you can say about John Campbell he knows his stuff a good old school promoter/manager.

I could imagine what he would tell them and where to go.

You will spoil it for them don't let the truth get in the way of a good old Glasgow bashing they are like sheep.

Anyway this is not what they want to hear, we shall have someone along shortly to question this as they know for fact how much we pay.

They heard it at the hairdressers last week and had it confirmed in Asda later that day so it must be true.

It was 7k-10k paid over 15 years with a buy back clause of a fiver with the fiver repayment spread over 5 years.

There was also a sell on clause inserted that we get a kit kat and 3 capri suns if you sold him to another club.

Hope this clears it up for you.

Your welcome.

I think its safe to say that Glasgow approached a number of last seasons Worky team before our promotion did. Isn't this against protocol and another example of how speedway needs further independent control.

I would doubt it as if as you say the season has finished unless any were an asset of Workington.

Self Employed riders will basically ride wrer they want.
