Find that a bit harsh I'm afraid. Averaged over 4 (4.3?) from his first year in British speedway. Jordan Stewart only averaged 3.7 last year in similar circumstances but he's been flying this year. Think its a good signing for Glasgow (that should put the mokkers on him lol)

He'd been riding in Europe for several years, even Swindon had considered signing him on the strength of that, I expected more. Jordan didn't have that background but I'd have him any day over Mikkel

So long as a rider gets fixed up with another team then it remains an evil that we the supporters have to put up with.

But it’s time to bring an end to the merry go round me thinks!

There were always going to be multiple changes with the team building average increasing during the season, something I've never seen done before and hopefully never again.

He knew before the meeting , he is a professional guy, gutted that he has been dropped as he was unwell last 2 weeks.

He done well then not to stick 2 fingers up to them and run 3 lasts.

What would be the point of that, he's earned little enough over the last few weeks, and unless he already had the deal done to go to Edinburgh (which I suspect he would), he wouldn't know when he would have an opportunity to earn again.

Also I suspect he would not want to upset his parent club, and at the same time put himself in the "shop window"

It seems that this doesn't matter in these desperate times for Championship speedway. Glasgow and Somerset desperate to be in play-offs.

Isn't every other club judging by the mid summer panic team changes!! (even the ones who have little prospect of making it such as Edinburgh! :t:)

Why is it desperate they are only doing what they think is best for there clubs.

In Somerset's case they had to because 2 riders left of there own accord,  in our case replacing an out of form rider hardly desperate bit of an overreaction describing it as desperate.

Pro-active yes but not desperate.

Would it not just make sense, to do little and expect folk to turn up anyway ?

Being reported that Starkey is out for around 6 weeks. Being fourth in the averages means r/r with 2 reserve rides and one for the newly installed MBA, which is asking a bit. Being a crucial part of the season we may be better with a temporary injury replacement as approx 6 weeks could actually be longer. Anyone got a number for Victor or Joel?

Not good news for Paul, or the team.

Need to get cover for sure, think it would please the Leicester fans if Victor was offered employment by his parent club

Ring Victor, he's like the 'hokey cokey' champion this season.
