Arch Stanton 2,247 Posted November 27, 2018 (edited) I’d say it’s odds on Cam will be in the side personally... Edit: I’ve only just noticed, but has Cam got just a little bit TOO excited about the golf? Edited November 27, 2018 by Arch Stanton

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv 10,706 Posted November 28, 2018 Fair play Buttons - I made the mistake of a quick glance at the team rollers rather than the official final download

Like I said for me cam just isn’t good value even at reserve on that mark! ive got nothing against the lad and still think there’s bags of untapped potential in there, but in any sport raw talent only gets you so far, attitude, application and dedication to being the best athlete you can be play just as big a part of not bigger and for me he’s had several opportunities now and time and time again come up short. To be fair I remember going to mildenhall when he first came over as a 15 year old he was instantly a revelation yet 7 years on how far has he progressed? I would say at 15/16 he looked every bit as special as Robert lambert or dan Bewley and look at where they’ve taken their careers in half the time!

Friends/girlfriends and alcohol etc is what keeps a rider at standstill. Robert Lambert was relying purely on ability and looked to have hit a wall in progression. Thus until his time with Woffy in 2017 and during the 2017 winter break dedicated himself to health and fitness. What a change he was in 2018, a totally different rider. Speedway today is a different animal to the beer drinking socialising mayhem it used to be. To be at the top, you have to drop ya mates and train bloody hard. There are some very very talented young rider's in British Speedway but unfortunately they get to caught up in "having fun" outside Speedway rather than the dedication needed to try and be the best they can be.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv 10,706 Posted November 28, 2018 Im sure I read somewhere that Woofy is doing the WA meetings this year Perhaps that could inspire Cam to review his approach
