And a wooden spoon to fight for

In a seven team league I’d be careful saying stuff like that in case it comes back to bite you on the bum

Sad really when you see a club like Poole who once had the reputation of signing all the top riders and being the one club allthe big guns were desperate to ride for.  Probably the most professional run club for a good number of years.  Now reduced to looking like Ragbag Utd.   Couldn’t the Poole fans on here set up a crowd funding to buy some team Kevlars.  The likes of Shovvy, and his love for Piratesshould be good for a few K

How about it Steve ?

New co-promoter Danny Ford explained that there was the chance of a new sponsor set to fund team kevlars but the deal fell through at the last moment - BUT hasn't ruled them out for the future as they are still seeking new sponsors..

It must be expensive to fund 14 kevlars over the season for the merry-go-round of the pie rats

In 1998 teams wore suits over their kevlars... couldnt they do the same. Ipswich and Coventry had their own kevlars though, think other teams did too. If a guest was needed then they wore the spandex onesie!

I’m amazed a ‘tight T-shirt’ sort of concept hasn’t taken off. That looks much better for guest riders and would be a much more affordable way for the lesser clubs than race jackets, whilst looking better too.

Why not go back to the old days when on a wet day riders would wear a boiler suit over their leathers.  Each club could wear a different colour.

Thats me saving all clubs a few K :)

Good news (relatively) then

Tough start to the year when you have such machinery woes

That's good to hear.

He was being chased very hard by Richie Worrall and tried to cover his run round the outside of bends 1 & 2, unfortunately he got the exit all wrong and bailed off just in time at high speed into the fence at the start of the back straight.

More like he hit another pot hole and gripped then bailed out

How strange?! I thought it was only Poole's track that had potholes!!??  (Incidentally Josh G said at P&P he hoped any holes were still there at Wimborne Road as it gave a good home advantage!!);)

Good to see someone from Poole admitting the holes are there. Credit to Josh, even if it does make some others there look a little economical with the truth.
